Flash Player (read-only)

Upgraded yesterday to Flash Player 11.3.300.257 (Vista 32, IE9). Now no sound on any flash content (Youtube, BBC, etc). Non-flash content on youtube is fine, just Flash.Have tried options suggestions on help pages (unistall/reinstall, etc.) - No luck?Any suggestions?

There are a many flash games I'd like to play after 2020, and many of the developers forgot about the games they made and won't migrate. It's okay to stop supporting it, but its NOT okay to prevent people from accessing content made with it. How would you feel if the government decided to destroy everyone's SNES, PS1... just because they're old?

so i went to donwload the install file of flash player and  opened it up and started downloading on the download screen  but then  i noticed it also downloading the mcaffe anti virus so i cancelled  it because i do not need mcaffe. i thought i was just downloading the flash player  and thats it. how do i just get the flash player download only? jeff5ea3

I recently quit using Chrome and returned to Firefox. I have had some problems with weird displays and the browser locking up, so I posted for assistance in the Firefox forum. Apparently, I have two versions of Shockwave Flash on my PC (Windows 7), Shockwave Flash 26.0 r0  and Shockwave Flash 15.0 r0. I was instructed to use the Uninstaller to remove both and their associated appdata, but when I try to run the Uninstaller, it won't start because it thinks Chrome is open and that I need to close it. Chrome, needless to say, is NOT running. I have done a Windows update, I have restarted the computer, and I have done a cold boot. However, the Uninstaller still seems to think Chrome is running and does not offer any option to shut Chrome down itself. I know Chrome's not running, nor has the computer noted that it's running either time I've shut it down.Is removing the conflicting versions via the Control Panel as effective as the Flash Uninstaller? If so, will that also remove the ass

I'm using Mac OS 10.7.5 Snow Leopard and while installing Flash Player it stops and tells me to quit Dashboard Clinet.  I've gone to force quit and have stopped everything on there other than the install program and I keep getting the same thing.  Is there a way to stop the Dashboard?  When I open it there does not appear to be a button to do so.

Hi everyone! I noticed something called "Adobe Flash Player Install Manager" on my Mac today (in the Finder folder). I don't recall ever downloading Flash, and I certainly never installed the Adobe Flash Player Install Manager. The only Adobe app I use or have actively downloaded is Acrobat Reader. I am trying to delete the Adobe Flash Player Install Manager from my Mac, but I am prompted to enter my Mac password. I am hesitant to enter this info becasue I dont even know what the Adobe Flash Player Install Manager is/ if it is legitimate. Has anyone dealt with a similar issue? What even is the Adobe Flash Player Install Manager, and should I enter my mac password to delete this off my machine? Thanks!

I have built a CEFSharp WinForms application (C# windows application). CEFSharp vesion 79.x.x1. Will this run after 2020? The application will download the Flash dlls(FlashUtil32_32_0_0_371_pepper.dll) from our intranet site.2. How can I test now (before 31st December), whether the app will continue to work after 2020.3. I have been a Creative Cloud subscriber since the start of the subscription plan, and I have been quite happy with Adobe except for this one thing.  Please stop trying to sneak in an installation of McAfee Anti-Virus every time there is a Flash Player update.  It is extremely frustrating because numerous times, when I have been in a hurry, I have not un-checked the McAfee installation box, and after discovering that McAfee has been installed and wreaks havoc with my installed anti-virus software, I am forced to go through numerous steps to restore my system to the way it was before.  PLEASE make the Flash Player installation default as "unchecked" for McAffee.  It is a continuing source of frustration in an otherwise "friendly" Adobe environment.

Hi, My organization has a small but mission critical application that still uses flash and due to numerous issues including Pandemic, we couldn't migrate to newer technologies.We're still striving to get flash working beyond EOL and for this we're referred to the Enterprise Enablement section in Admin guide.With the help of it, we've been able to whitelist a pair of flash player and browser.However, we're unable to whitelist another webpage which has port numbers.Can anyone advise how can I make flash player read wildcard for portnumber in whitelist url pattern?Our application Landing page has port number 7000 while content resides on other ports like 7600, 7700 etcIs it possible to use wildcard for port numbers or to allow all ports in this domain/subdomain automatically?AllowlistUrlPattern=https://www.example.com/ -- didnt workAllowlistUrlPattern=https://www.example.com:*/ -- didnt workInstead of coding as below, can anyone suggest a wildcard for ports?AllowlistUr

Hi there!I'm not a professioal webmaster and not used to many technical issues, so please forgive me any stupid questions here. I'm the current and temporarily webmaster of the website [removed]. I got the order to implement a video-widget to play an introductional video on the homepage. While I haven't done something like that before - just know that Adobe flash player is usually used for that - I decided to come up with this question here. Since the official support isn't helpful, I was directed to come here.I'm having difficulties installing Flash for Firefox on Ubuntu 18.04 for a few reasons;There is no add-ons/plug-ins directory that I can find for Firefox, presumably because most NPAPI plug-ins were deprecated recently.Firefox itself won't recognize the .SO file as an add-on file, claims it's "corrupt".Using the APT URL that is suggested doesn't work-- Ubuntu Software claims it doesn't know how to handle apt://, and AptURL says "The channel 'bionic-partner' is not known".This, of course, leaves me Flash-less and confused. The official Adobe support only lead me through the basic "go to the website that tells you to install Flash and enable it" page, then gave up and directed me here. How, exactly, am I supposed to install Flash on my system?

I'm wondering if theres a version of the flash player stand alone version. I use it to play some games but some of them use the timeline to go to certain frames a lot. If there is no version with one, could adobe put it in before the EOL date?Thanks.-Jason
