Flash Player (read-only)

I have used Xcelsius 2008 since, well, 2008, and it was working fine yesterday with Adobe Flash 20 released 12/11/15 (20.0.0.228).My browsers (Firefox and IE) demanded that I upgrade to the new version dated 12/28/15 to fix security vulnerabilities.Now when I start Xcelsius 2008 all the of the file functions are grayed out, so I cannot open any files or update them.The new version of Flash seems to have crippled Xcelsius 2008 which uses both Flash and AIR.When I do the same thing on my backup system it works fine because that is still on Flash 20.0.0.228.I use Xcelsius 2008 every day for several hours and I am now out of action. Can anyone advise how I can get hold of the old version of Flash and re-install it?Thanks

After the Windows Update of WIN 8 and WIN 10 today, our application are no longer working.IT'S DUE TO THE UPDATE OF FLASH 20.0.0.267.They are not able to uninstall / downgrade the current version of Flash plugin.Therefore, we could not provide any solution to our clients.Please fix the problem ASAP or release a quick fix for 20.0.0.267.

I keep getting this error when I try to run xsplit on my computer, and I have come to the conclusion that the version of flash that was pre-installed on this computer has become corrupt.  I had two blue-screens earlier today while working on a large photoshop CC project, I believe that's when it started.I tried this How do I do a clean install of Flash Player? but no gravy.Is it wrong of me to want to be able to uninstall a program on a computer that I own without having to get permission?

Hi,Does anybody know how we can install a previous version of Flash Player on a Windows 8 or 10 PC ?The latest version 20.0.0.267 is no longer compatible with our softwares (GetVariable() problems) and we would like to replace it with version 16.0.0.296The procedure for Windows XP, Vista and 7 is easy but I don't have a solution for Windows 8 and 10Many thanks for your attention to my request.Christophe

I have found the archived software for 20.0.0.228 and it gives me the error 1722 when i try to install it.I have uninstalled the newest version.What am I doing wrong.We are using a dental software that requires the older version.

After Flash Player, 20.0.0.267 update, we can’t load the program properly when we use invokehelper function.It worked fine for the previous versions so I want to know if there are any changes. Or is this just a bug?

Adobe Flash Player will not properly install on my pc, Windows 7.  All updates have been installed.  After following instructions to install and uninstall Adobe Flash Player the only place it appears is in 'Uninstall Programs'.  Shockwave Player is enabled.  I have rebooted after install/uninstall attempts.  My technical skills are limited.  What I have read on-line of those with similar problems became too technical for me to follow.  Can anyone assist?

I had to reinstall all my programs and data on a new drive as the old one crashed. When installing Flash Player, I cannot go further than password step as it rejects it. Yet the user name and password were accepted with no problem to access Adobe.Strangely the same problem happens when I try to install and old version of Lightroom 4.Can you help?

Hello,I received an email stating the existing Flash Player Distribution sites will be decommissioned at different points in 2016.  I have an existing Adobe ID that is registered with the same email address that was approved to distribute Flash Player throughout the company, however I do not see where to download the latest version.  The link in the email is listed below for reference, however only provides information regarding the license request process.Adobe Flash Player Distribution | AdobeI opened a case with Adobe Support, however was advised to make a post in this forum.  Please let me know if there is a knowledgebase article I should follow or if you would like additional information.Thank you

Have Mac 10.6.8.  Downloaded most recent version of Flash Player.  Went through steps to install.  Install gets to 95%, stalls, then says install failed.  I tried uninstalling current version then reinstalling, but no luck.  Any help is appreciated.

I have a mac lap top and have installed Adobe Flash Plug In successfully.  When I go to open an e-card that requires adobe flash player it tells me I need to download it.  What is going on?

I am using Internet Explorer 11 with Windows 10 (I don't care for Edge).  When I play a game that requires Flash, the left click (needed for game options) brings up the Flash menu.  I would like to disable this but cannot figure out how to.  Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

We use Dentrix Dental software and the newest version of Adobe Flash is conflicting with it.  Dentrix support told me to downgrade to version .228 and make sure it will not automatically update in the future.  Can you please help me do this?

Secunia says to manually update this program.However I have tried everything I know.Secunia says the current version is 20.0.0.228(IE)  and the secure version is 20.0.0.267(IE).Could you please advise. I am using Win 10 x 64, Chrome basically and Edge very occasionally.Thank youPeter

so I know adobe flash got yet another update yesterday (28/12/15) but going into today I see MS has not pushed this down the pipe via Windows update. is there a reason why this is not happening yet? I updated the plug in on my Windows 7 laptop and did the update for Mozilla. But as yet edge and IE 11 on my Windows 10 machine are still waiting for the active x update (which AFAIK can only be done via windows update)thanks, Wayne‌
