Flash Player (read-only)

I un-  installed my previous version because I was having trouble loading farmville. I used the adobe uninstaller not remove programs. I can't reinstall the latest version in either Firefox or explorer. I have windows XP. I downloaded the Adobe support and it found nothing wrong. Help please.

I work on a Macbook Air. This morning a message appeared inviting me to update "Flash". I have frequently received similar messages in the past and had no reason to doubt authenticity. However, during the process a page appeared looking like the others but inviting me basically to instal MacKeeper - an application which I certainly don't want. I abandoned the instal not knowing if it was genuine or not. I have now re-installed Flash Player which says "Modified and Last opened 17/03/2011". But I play online bridge and am under the impression that Flash is used every time I play. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks.

My Training Department is using Articulate Storyline 2.4 to create .swf. If the story is called up by \\servername\share\story.html (or .swf) the embedded video will not play. The animation within the .swf runs fine. If the story is called up by X:\story.html (or .swf) the embedded video plays fine. Adobe Flash Player 19.0.0.207I understand the work around is to map the drive letter but due to security concerns, I am unable to do this.Does anyone have some insight to this issue or an official statement from Adobe that states UNC are not supported?thanksJim

How do I adjust the brightness of Flash Player?

I am creating a training video, that will play for a few minutes then automatically pause (using hot spots).  After a discussion, the viewers will then manually continue the video.  There will be several pauses/ manual advances, throughout the video.I realize that this feature will only work if the file is being played back within the Flash Player.  My challenge is that the viewers may not have an internet connection.  Ideally, the video will be supplied to them on a USB/ Flash Drive (DVD's, with chapter markers, is not an option).  If they do not have internet, then it's likely that they do not have the Flash player installed on their machine.Could I add a Flash Player Installer to the USB/ Flash Drive?  I won't know what system they are running or if they are savvy enough to install the correct player, if I provide multiple options.Is there a different solution?

I have a MacBook Pro 17" running Snow Leopard and a Toshiba Satellite with 8.1I like to watch a CBS soap and several evening shows from their station. The problem I am having is with any browser I use: IE and Chrome (testing only since I do not use them),  FireFox Version 41.01 (Mac and PC) and Safari on mac. I also tried it in SeaMonkey on the mac.Everywhere I go that uses flash player does not give me a problem with the videos, other than some take forever to buffer...LOLCBS.com on the other hand will start playing the video just fine (To test it I turned off flashplayer and it said I needed it to see the video so I turned it back on)  after about the first set of commercials it starts to have the worst case of hiccups. Almost like when a record player has a scratched record...the skipping and not going forward is terrible as is the stalling totally. I recently have not been able to select my logitec webcam pro 5000 in flashplayer. it also will not list the integrated webcam on my del laptop with windows 7 yet the website i use it with pull that webcam. None of them are being listed so that I can change them. I have gone to flasher website and  followed instructions to maybe correct the issue but they still do no show up in the flashplayer settings window.. I hate the integrated webcam as u cannot control it, hence why i like the logitec webcam pro 5000 instead. . I always use to be able to go in and select that webcam untill two days ago. I also tried to restore my laptop to a later date and that didnt even help.  could it be that the webcam is too outdated and no driver alavailable anymore? Id hate to go buy a new webcam and it do the same thing, Anyone have any other suggestions?

My windows 8.1 64bit PC received update KB3099406, with changes/update to Flash Player.  When I ran it, the update did not complete - either saying "There was a problem installing updates" or completing the installation before reboot and then upon restart ending with "We couldn't complete the updates - Undoing changes - Don't turn off your computer"  I've Googled everything I can think of and tried most applicable recommendations, with no progress.  My current version of Flash is 19.0.0.185, and I am told by Adobe that I don't have the latest version 19.0.0.207.  Is there anything that will work to fix this?  By the way, my Flash on IE11 and Chrome has been experiencing several issues, particularly playing streaming videos with random brief hesitation in the audio followed by hesitation in the video (to catch up) on youtube videos (HTML5 videos work okay it seems) and random audio hesitations in Candy Crush.  I used to experience random crashes and blue sc

I have completely removed all previous versions of Flash, cleaned up all entries in the Registry for flash of either FireFox or Opera versions, and still the online installation results in a blank Adobe Download Manager...never to populate and complete the installation.  None of the questions or answers to previous posts addresses the issue I am experiencing in Windows 7 Pro/Svc Pak 1, latest Opera, latest FireFox, latest Safari.I have gone back to the Archived full off-line installer for Flash 18 for the page capabilities that I need for my browsers, but as we all know, old versions often have vulnerabilities.So my question is, WHY are there not links to full off-line, download NOW, links to the latest versions of Flash offered on the Flash Download page?  It used to be accessible within a couple of links for "Other Versions" but now only "archived" versions of the full installer can be found,PLEASE stop emulating Microsoft and making it HARDER to use OUR internet and go bac

Good evening!I have a customer whom, when trying to install software for their HP Scanjet 3000 s2, they receive the "Macromedia Projector has stopped working" error message once the .exe starts.To note: - Indirect (suspicious) software identified as potential malware was removed from their system - The CD being used works fine on other systems for installing the software - Used the following steps to complete fresh removal of Flash: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html - Installed Flash fine without issue, no resolve - Unable to disable Data Execution Protection for the setup.exe file on the HP disc to possibly bypass this error - Booting to Safe Mode with Networking allows setup.exe to start, then halts and disappears- Customer also tried downloading Flash Player 12 Projector, however they noted this did not do anything for themAre there any other ways to work around this error message?Thanks!

Hola, mi inconveniente es que al momento que voy a seleccionar la cam no me lo permite y sale en blanco como se aprecia en la imagen, pensé que podría ser por la versión pero al revisar vi que no era por ello debido a que esta con la ultima actualización, borre el historial de autorizaciones de Mic y Cam, pero aun asi no sigue sucediendo lo mismo. I'm just stuck - can't update explorer and can't download flashplayer

My name is Brian. This is addressed to the complete f***ing idiots at Adobe and the only way I "fill out a contact form" since the site no longer has one and you have to make several laps through useless and worthless information before reaching any meaningful point. Just what the hell is going on w/ flash player?! I've been fighting w/ your product for months now and you're just now coming out w/ an update that doesn't work worth a goddamn? How long have you known about this little security issue? I find it impossible to believe that you just found out although I find it completely plausible that you knew and were acting like s***-throwing chimps in a room and did nothing about it. I've tried updating my flash player for both Internet explorer AND firefox MULTIPLE times to no avail. I even followed the instructions and uninstalled any previous version and then installed this beta version only to find out that some of the things I do online are telling me that THIS VERSION IS ACTUALLY

I recieved a reqeust fore a new update of flash, but MacFeaa blockt it and refused my overwrite becouse it was lkely to have haserdes content.
