Running OS 10.9.5, updated Adobe Flash Player version 21 two weeks ago and now I'm getting popups regarding "Mac Adware Cleaner" or all different kinds of products. Went to their website and it is based in INDIA. When I call them I'm told that I need to give them access to my computer to remove. No way am I going to do that. Used a Mac for 20 years and this is the first time that I have had this problem. Any one help or have this problem?
not able to update flash player at latest iMac version 10.14.01
HelloAfter installing flashplayer31au_ha_install, the installer reminder still starts when the computer starts - what to do to disable the installer? it is becoming more and more troublesomeThank you for helpregardsPiotr Jaruga
Just in case no one looks at my addendum to the 148 question:As of today, 11/21/18, 11:15A EST, there is still no PPAPI available to download for the 153 update. All the download link will give me is the "install_flash_player_osx.dmg" file -- even though I click for it through my System Preferences for PPAPI. Because the PPAPI version doesn't match, I keep getting "upgrade" alerts. I'm hoping an Adobe employee reads this, and fixes the download. Current PPAPI is 122. Has that side of Flash been eliminated? Is 122 the latest PPAPI version? Or did someone forget to upload a 153 version for it?Mac OSX 10.14.1, Safari 12.0.1, Chrome 70.0.3538.102.
Unfortunately, I recently "updated" my Flash Player on Safari and now any time I try to use a webpage I get pulled from it and get the following notification....Flash UnavailableThere was a problem loading your Adobe Flash Player plugin. Please ensure Flash is installed, enabled, and not blocked by either the browser or extension, then try reloading the page. I used Google Chrome to find the legit webpage for "Check if Flash Player is installed on your computer." Opened it in Safari and I have it installed properly, however I still get this "Flash Unavailable" notice every time I try to open a page using Safari. How do I get rid of this madness?!?I checked my download files to see if there was a strange file or .dmg that didn't look right and can't find anything.
I have downloaded "install_flash_player_ax.exe" and Enabled Shockwave Flash Object. The installation proceeds as expected and I click done. The program does not install. IE 11 is installed but not running. Appreciate any suggestions.

Just concerned about the impending doom of flash player. There are a lot offlash games I still play that will become unplayable around 2020, even multiplayergames. What will replace flash player for them? I hope there is a backup planbefore Adobe just pulls the plug.
I constantly keep getting a popup "Update Adobe Flash Player" even when I have the latest version installed. It just keeps popping up. Here is a screen shot of the adobe version test page showing I have the latest version installed and the popup. OS is Windows 7, Google Chrome Version 51.0.2704.103 m
My browser (Firefox) claimed that my flash player was out of date. I clicked the install button to make the browser happy(1), and it install McAfee antivirus and Intel True Key as well. I have no particular objection to True Key except that it should not be installed without the user's permission. But I have no idea what Adobe thinks it is doing, installing an antivirus program without the user's permission.I promptly uninstalled McAfee, of course. I hate to think what would have happened if I'd needed to reboot and had _two_ antivirus programs running. My past experience is that having two or more AV programs makes the system pretty much unusable until you boot into Safe Mode and remove one of them. Uggh!Installing software that is likely break the user's machine is MALWARE in my view. A naive user would have no idea what is going on, and not even be able to reach the web to get support from a forum like this.I hope that in the near future Adobe will stop doing this. If not, I may hav
Adobe keeps trying to install Mcafee when doing updates, does anyone know how to get this option turned off when you do an update?
Needing some help. I'm using Google Chrome and Adobe Flash keeps saying it's blocked and asks to "run one time". I've updated Flash to it's latest version, updated Chrome, changed my settings on the "critical security download" page it sent me to. I don't know what else to do. I've even reset my Chrome settings. Nothing works. Can I have a direct download link to this fix? Thank you. I even downloaded the Beta just now and it's still blocking me.

The new beta 26.0.0.89 released on 4/27 does not work in Chrome and Windows XP. All previous versions did.Windows XP is still a supported operating system. Also, the normal Internet Explorer and Firefox plugins work correctly, both on Windows 2000 and XP. It's only the Chrome PPAPI that does not. I am fed up with this bug, but there does not seem to be a report bug method to gather the attention of Adobe.I do not use Microsoft Browsers and haven't for about 15 years. This bug has persisted through different versions of Windows and releases of Flash Player. The Adobe updater runs when I start up and asks me if I want to download the Flash Player update. It then loads the Adobe page through my system Browser, in my case Opera.I then proceed with the download, kill the browser and install the update. When the update finishes, without fail it always loads a Microsoft Browser to display to the Adobe success page.If one part of the Adobe update process works correctly, there is no reason the other part should not, bar lazy programming and testing. How do we get Adobe to fix it?
I have an old Mac Book running MacOSX 10.6.3 (Snow Leopard). I have Flash Player 10.3.183.19. Can I "update" to the latest version? If so, how do I do it. When I try an update, it is refused. Do I have to "uninstall" what is currently installed (and how)?[moderator: added os version to title for clarity]
How do you get flash player on an android phone?

I'm using Mac OS 10.14.1 and the latest Safari browser.I will be online responding to a forum I frequent and all of a sudden the Flash Player will take over my computer and begin installing the the installer to my downloads folder even though I have not authorized it to do so. Even though a window pops up with selections, I have no opportunity to make any selections or cancel it as it will start the install process immediately. If I try to get back to the work I was doing, it begins an endless loop and will often install numerous copies of the installer dmg (eg., Player.dmg, Player-1.dmg, Player-2.dmg).The installer is behaving just like bloatware and has caused me to lose work a number of times since it completely takes over my computer. How do I stop this as it is frustrating.Chris
When trying to update Adobe in our office using GPO 2 of our users had issues with it not installing correctly. In fact windows says Flash is not installed at all. When i ty to run the installer manually i get the following. The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.Click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package in the box below. Now i browse to where the MSI is located and click okay, i then receive this error:The file " FileName " is not a valid installation package for the product Adobe Flash Player 28 ActiveXAnyone know of a fix ?Thanks
This is so unfair. We cannot everybody afford to buy a new mac, so we are stuck in 10.6.8 and we are still doing our job very well. But browsing has become a little difficult because you decided not to include is in the latest updates of flash player and you demand 10.10 and up.please fix that, include older versions of mac to the new updates of flash.

Hi,I am currently playing a browser based game called KIngsroad, I am playing it in Google Chrome and I have had a recent problem where I have to double click the mouse on icons to open them up when previously I could open them up with 1 click of the mouse. I have been in contact with the game creators and they have advised me there is no current issue with Kingroad, I have chatted with other game players and they are not having the issue I am having, so it is a little frustrating. I have done the troubleshooting for flash player, made sure I had the latest version of flash player, uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome, updated my graphics card. So I done all I can possibly do. I did try another browser such as Mozilla and the game worked fine but ran too slow, I also tried Microsoft Edge the game also worked fine but flash just kept crashing all the time. I have been told by a computer guru that there is a current issue with Chrome and Flash player and it will be fixed in the next Flash
