Fresco

I am very new to fresco and I must have accidentally changed a setting because I can't draw anything - either with my Ipencil or my fingers.  How do I get my brushed back so they work?

In Fresco there is a circle that appears to be a tool of some sort that automatically pops up in the middle of the page. It appears to make whatever it's over when I click it more transparent/light. I can move it but I cannot get rid of it as far as I can tell. What is this and is there a way to hide the tool?

Hi. I had all my drawings in Adobe Sketch. With the announcement of its demise and the advent of Adobe Fresco it was published that all files would be available in the new app. However, I have lost the large part of my works, available in Sketch until a few days ago. They are not in my user files, nor are they in the storage of is my iPad. I am in despair.

after completing a layer is it possible to edit a shape in the layer. Eg the coulor or size?

**I posted this in the wrong forum, but any replies to help this situation is appreciated!**I recently downloaded Adobe Fresco and after having a few problems signing in due to not being able to have access, I was finally able to get into the app itself and decided to import some of my Adobe Sketch files to Fresco. However, when I chose one of the files to download, I always have this error message popping up: "Something went wrong. Please try again later" after barely having any progress. I tried signing out and re-signing back in, even trying the tutorials before importing my files in, and also re-syncing that same file into Fresco, but no success. I've attached a screenshot of the error. Earlier my cloud had an error that says "You've been disconnected", but I think that's temporarily gone. 

Not sure how to do this. How do I move files/folders from Adobe creative cloud files to Adobe creative cloud documents? I can't seem to do this on the web portal, nor the creative cloud desktop app.

It ran smoothly until today, where whenever I add a new layer and draw something, it freezes and will take 10-15 seconds to unfreeze. It gets worse when I try moving layers. This is not an issue with the device, since when I try to draw and move layers on my desktop computer, I get the same issues. I also took a look at Task Manager to identify what the slowdown might be, and I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that it's a cloud-stored file, and it's not communicating with the Adobe servers fast enough. When the app hangs, I see my Ethernet charts spike in Task Manager. CPU, GPU, Disk and Memory are all fine

Hello, I am currently working on a PC with Wacom tablet without touch. This works great. I did find one issue. I can only use Ctrl + + or - to zoom in. It zooms 1% at a time. This is very, very slow if you are trying to zoom out to see what your work looks like and then zoom back in. Can we get some more zoom controls? What about using [shift] with that combo to zoom 10% at a time?What about hiding down z and then click and dragging like photoshop. This would be great. Keep the functionality the same. Thanks.

I followed the procedure described in this video https://helpx.adobe.com/fresco/how-to/eyedropper-multicolor-swatch.htmlon how to use the eyedropper on multicolor. However, it doesn't work on pixel brushes. It only works on live brushes. The video clearly shows the user using a pixel brush. Can anybody help me?

As Title Says. I was running the older 3.4.2 version of Fresco fine, accidentally updated to 3.6 which now has the above problem. I have tried using an older version, v3.5 but that also has the same problem, Crashing upon Startup at "Loading Document". Having searched online for a fix extensively I can't seem to see any solutions and have exhausted all options when trying to get 3.5 or 3.6 to work. Reading other user problems/posts in this sub, it seems there is NOT a known fix for the above issue aside from using a previous version, BUT the previous version that worked is now no longer available.  I'm sure that I'm not the only one that this has created massive problems for (especially as I was literally using this on Friday) as I am now no longer able to complete client work and incredibly frustrated that the working version is now no longer available.  Looking for an actual fix/help/somewhere to get v3.4.2 Please note I have already tried

 Hey so I drew this picture here, without the sporadic eraser marks everywhere.  I, very briefly, tapped around with the highlighted tool on the left, trying to figure out what it was, then suddenly my picture looked like this.  Despite the fact that I was working on it for over an hour, my file history shows that the picture wasn't saved, conveniently, until after whatever happened here.  Is there any possible way for me to get back my drawing?

1 am having trouble with fresco as my library isn't complete.it has become very frustrating not being able to access my library after the update. The only files that are showing are files I haven't used in years. Cc libraries and creative cloud shows ap when I try to upload a file but my entire library doesn't load at all. Is there any solution to this? I can see my entire library on the creative cloud app mobile and desktop but I can't seem to link it to fresco. Anyone have a solution to this?

This only happens when using mixer brushes. It does not matter if it is a new layer on a started project or the very first brush strokes in a brand new project. I'm am very frustrated and am looking for any suggestions!

Hi  I wanted to know if Adobe would support me or send me anything for my students for this new venture I'm thinking of doing.  Does anyone know if they do, since it's nearly impossible to figure out how or who to email anything to at Adobe.  LOL  

End goal: Export a GIF with transparent background and animated white doodle.When I initially went to export the animation from Fresco I realized the options were:- no transparency (basically adds a white background layer to artwork)- white as transparent (white illustration I drew has now dropped out to nothing)I tried to work around this by making the illustration in black and then exporting with transparency (planning to bring into PS and apply a color overlay of white to all layers within a group) BUT the GIF exported from Fresco included a halo of jagged white pixels around the illustration.I was trying to think of a workaround where I could drop the background out in PS quickly (not masking one layer at a time) since using the transparency feature in Fresco's export made the lines quite rough. Not having come up with an automation for that maybe the next best option is the animate in AE and then export from PS as a GIF aka skipping Fresco motion all together?All suggestions welco

Ok.. I have a serious problem with using my wacom in Fresco. Adobe owns a good amount of shares in wacom from what I heard last. I updated the drivers for my tablet and its not the problem. Honestly I can paint in Illustrator and PS without any issues with the tablet on an 11x17 paper at 300dpi. In fresco at 11x17 I wait 1 to 2 minutes to see the stroke. Than undo it and redo it SSDD.This software, beyond being made for the ipad and android has not been optimized for a desktop computer.Moving layers around takes about 25 seconds to even pick the thing up and move up or down with the pen. most of the times I find that where it sets, automatically drops it onto another layer and makes a layer folder.Changing the colors with the color picker is really laggy.I mainly use it for practicing oil painting. Its not the computer I own. Nor is it the tablet as it works fine in photoshop, illustrator, and using it as a pointing device.I also find that its annoying that to close the software you ha

Or rather, can I offload Adobe Fresco from my iCloud backups? From my understanding, all projects are saved on Adobe Creative Cloud anyway. Also, judging from the 130.7MB Fresco occupies on iCloud, I don't believe that to be the actual projects. But then, what is it exactly?I guess this is becoming more of an Apple related question, but is the "app data" that Apple claims to be saved simply for that specific app to be downloaded automatically if I were to restore, or setup, a device from a saved backup? And if that is the case, why must the backup of that app saying, "download me," be bigger than the other ones. So I was just wondering if I can safely remove it from my backups to reduce redundant use of storage.

I'm having a frustrating issue: I create layered vector illustrations in fresco and send them to desktop illustrator for a few last tweaks. Ever since updating Illustrator to 2022, Fresco chooses one of my vector groups to export as vectors, and all other layers are merged together as one locked pixel background image. What's the deal? I've never had issues getting all of my layers imported before. I have seen other posts saying the "simplify" experimental feature might be turned on. That's not the case for me. I see that setting, but I can't tick it on or off. Fresco: 3.0.1Illustrator: 26.0Exporting to illustrator > desktop. Desktop is an iMac running Big Sur 11.6 In this case, each circle is a layer group. I'm only getting one circle as a vector layer. The rest are grouped together and pixels. I would like (in iOS) for Adobe Fresco AND Photoshop to show plain Engish descriptions in drop-downs as a Windows mouseover does. I don't get icons very well. I failed Calculus because of this. So to re-iterate, I want Plain English descriptions of what an icon does. This should be able to be turned off at will. I pay a subscription so needs done.

Anyone have an idea as to why Perspective Grid would not be available? Am I missing something? I do not see it....  

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I couldn't find any way to report bugs, so I was working on a drawing of a character, and I had already drawn the character before so I closed the new drawing I was working on in order to open an older drawing with the same character so that I could copy a layer on the old drawing (which had a palette of the colours for that character; I just finished outlining the drawing, and wanted to copy the colours before I started colouring it). I was able to save the new drawing I'm currently working on, and then I tried to open the older drawing and suddenly the entire screen of my iPad became a bright fuschia pink for a couple seconds before the screen turned off and the iPad crashed. I was able to restart the iPad just fine and open up Fresco, but now I can't open up the new drawing I'm working on. I am so grateful for the new Fresco feature of automatically creating the palette of an imported image, which I recently requested because I really need it for a current project. Thanks Adobe Fresco team! However, I found today and yesterday that I needed to import images without needing their colors, but Fresco automatically created their palettes, adding a large amount of unnecessary swatches to the file. It seems there is no way to choose whether or not to choose in the import process whether or not that automatic palette is created. Is there a way to choose? If not, I'll submit that request. Thanks for the assistance.

Fresco would be a great program for making things like sketchy collages but it needs a magic wand selection tool! Missing this smart selection tool is one thing keeping the app from feeling really great.
