Shift-select multiple titles to position them as a group, without nesting.

In any other NLE, I can shift-select multiple elements to move them by hand, without nesting or pre-comping them. It seems very basic, and when doing animated titles, it’s a huge time-suck to move each word individually.

It would be REALLY cool if I could shift-select multiple elements and use numerical values (in the inspector) to move them as a group. Since each element has a different position value, I assume this would mean the inspector would display an average position or “null“ position, and then sliders or numerical entry would move the entire group.

@bigbanginc good news, you can do this! The newer Properties panel supports changing Transform/Opacity/Crop on multiple selected clips at once. Just select them all in the Timeline panel, then open the Properties panel and drag the blue text of the parameter you’re interested in – they’ll all change in unison.

Not working for me - note that I said TITLES in my post, not clips. If I select one title, the properties panel shows the usual positioning/etc transforms. The minute I shift-select another one, I lose the transform controls - only “text” and “appearance” are shown. Seems very weird to me.

I agree - it would also be really usseful to be able to lasso multiple Titles and use the align tools for vertical/horizontal once and they all snap into place
