Is there any way for Premiere Pro to save a new version of a project file (“Save As”) in the last location it was opened from, instead of the last location used, such as where I exported a video? This new behavior is extremely frustrating.

    Hi SafetyMedia.pl,

Currently,  there is no preference/setting to set a default location for the project files.
I am moving this thread to the Feature Requests page so others can upvote it.

    Thanks,

We’ve had something like this in Photoshop for many years. Hopefully, it will come to Premiere, too

Is there an open feature request to vote for this?

I know what you mean. It’s quite frustrating. I’m getting the same issue when importing into Premiere, it never remembers the last location I imported from ☹️
