TLDR:Key is a solution that enables being able to move previously textured parts of a mesh in a modeling package to a different location and orientation, reimport into Painter, and have all the previous texture work transfer over.Currently the Preserve Stroke Positions on Mesh setting under project configuration applies the paint projections in the same 3D space as the original mesh was located. So one cannot move a mesh and keep the projected brush strokes. This is a major problem, as just the simple act moving a part of a mesh that has previously been textured, even if the UVs do not change, one loses all the paint work etc. This is a major workflow issue for certain things. It seems that the solution to this issue would be to compare meshes by name rather than position in 3D space. Then if Painter detects that in the newly imported mesh, models with name matches are translated to a new location or orientation, Painter should be able to get the offset values between the two meshes that are named the same, by using each object's pivot point, and offset the paint strokes projection cage, or however paint stroke projection is done, in 3D space with those same offsets, so that the paint stroke projections work on the newly translated meshes. This is vital to lots of workflows, and a major Painter shortcoming. Other 3D paint packages CAN handle this, like Marmoset Toolbox. Believe me I do understand that they are not projecting paint strokes in those packages, so it is totally different and brings its own set of negatives. But there has to be a solution to do this in Painter that your incredible programing team could implement to do paint stroke projections in a different 3D location. Don't make us have to switch to Marmoset Toolbox to texture models! Please!Regardless of the solution, this is a pretty major feature that is desperately needed.Or if anyone out there has a workaround, would love to hear it, it would solve so many problems!
In the latest Premiere Beta 24.2.0 you have the option for Channel Selection when Transcribing a single clip. However, it would be useful to have the same functionality when selecting multiple clips. Currently this is not possible. This would help my workflow using a multi-channel camera in a fast-paced documentary environment (having multiple people wearing lavaliers, but camera only focusing on one subject at a time, so the audio from other lavs would "contaminate" the transcription of the channel of the person I am focusing on). Currently I have to select and transcribe clips one by one to ensure only the channel I need is being transcribed. By allowing the same channel selection across multiple clips I could batch transcribe clips with the same channel configuration, saving a lot of time.
https://aescripts.com/auto-motion-tracker-for-objects/This is an extension for Adobe Premiere Pro that lets you convert keyframes of a tracked Mask Path to a Transform effect, so anything can follow movement in the scene! Those keyframes can also be used to STABILIZE your footage! All it does is capture a mask's position, rotate, scale keyframe data within PPro and apply to the transform effect. Why can't Abode implement this themselves?www.santanu.biz
I believe that it would be a good thing to add native File Info support for the following to Adobe products via File Info and Metadata Templates: https://iptc.org/news/exclude-images-from-generative-ai-iptc-photo-metadata-standard-2023-1/ Caveats: Not for Adobe Stock and this requires that the embedded metadata is not stripped out :]
It would be very useful while croping print files for screen use, now you have to guess. It could be and option in tool settings.(Yes, I'm aware it could be done with gudlines)
For effects like Lens Blur or Gaussian Blur, Ae provides the ability to activate 'Repeat Edge Pixels', to let the effect go 'over the edge' in stead of regarding the edge as part of the art.We need this for Layer Styles too. E.g. an Inner Glow should respect the shape of a Layer, even when it is animated off screen. Compare the two images' left lower corner. When the circle is animated off screen, Layer Styles are applied to the visible part of the circle intersected with the Comp edges, where it needs to be applied to the circle.* Left: current situation (see left lower corner) / Right: the way we (I) would like it *I know this has to do with render order in After Effects, but still it needs a solution like 'Repeat Edge Pixels'.
Advanced & User-Friendly Graph Editor for Premiere Pro (Speed + Value) The Idea Introduce an enhanced Graph Editor UI within the Effects Control Panel in Adobe Premiere Pro — offering a dedicated, intuitive, and scalable graph interface similar to After Effects, tailored specifically for video editors. Key Features Dual Graph Modes Speed Graph: Adjust temporal interpolation smoothly, with speed-only control for precise motion timing. Value Graph: Modify spatial or numerical values (e.g. scale, position, opacity) using value-specific curves. Larger UI & Responsive Graph Area Big, draggable Bezier handles Resizable editor panel (even full-screen toggle) Zoom + pan control for precise fine-tuning Snappy & Intuitive UX One-click switch between Speed & Value Graphs Smooth UI performance with clear keyframe indicators Modifier keys (Shift/Alt) for snapping, linear hold, or easing options Graph Presets & Custom Curves Save & reuse favorite curves Access to community curve packs (optional marketplace integration) Drag & drop preset system with live preview Contextual Tooltips + AI Suggestions (optional) Smart suggestions for easing types Instant smoothing based on adjacent keyframes The current keyframe graphs in Premier Pro are way confusing & complex + bad ui/ux. It's a bit hard to edit the graphs since they are too small. Why This Matters Not a new request — a long-standing user pain pointThousands of editors, from freelancers to studio-level professionals, have requested better graph tools in forums and feedback hubs for years. Massive time-saverThe current graph editor is too small, hard to interact with, and unintuitive — especially for editors coming from After Effects or DaVinci Resolve. Brings motion precision to PremiereEditors who do complex transitions, speed ramps, text animations, or motion templates will finally have a native, pro-grade solution inside Premiere, without switching to After Effects. Huge for motion-driven workflowsYouTubers, content creators, agency editors — everyone needs more control over animations and motion without relying entirely on AE. Who It HelpsFreelance editors & solo creators Content agencies & production studios YouTube editors, TikTok creators, Reels specialists Motion designers looking for basic motion controls inside Premiere VisionLet Premiere Pro not just catch up — but set the new standard for timeline-based motion editing. Make it fast. Make it fluid. Make it powerful — without ever needing to leave the timeline.
Sometimes you have to switch audio source tracks quite frequently. This would be much easier if you could activate or deactivate them via shortcuts. This is possible for target tracks in the timeline but not for the source tracks.
One great feature FCP had when I dropped it 12 years ago to favor PP is the 2 sorts of focus approaches when zooming in the TL. I'll explain and wish you could consider!1- If nothing/no clips was selected on the TL, the zooming in would be centered on the CTI. All good.2- However, if a clip was selected, then the zooming in would be centered on that clip. How great!! WHy? Well, bcz at times, we don't have the CTI placed at the clip we're busy with, hence selected. Yet we wanna zoom in there to check somthg, to maybe Slip it, roll an edit point... So zooming in on it would be very intuitive, instead of jumping back to where we left our dear CTI a few seconds before... And once one knows that it works like this, it's just a really handy feature!! With more ways (just one more here) we can do faster. Really. Thanks for considering! Best,Federico
I regularly share Lightroom Mobile albums using the “Copy Link” option, then paste those links into Apple Mail or Messages. Until recently, these links generated a rich preview card with the album’s thumbnail image. This was extremely useful for recipients — it provided a visual cue, improved engagement, and made the link more attractive. As of sometime after April 30, 2024, this behavior changed. Now the same type of Lightroom share link (adobe.ly/...) only generates a generic Adobe Photoshop Lightroom card with a blue background and "Lr" logo, no album image. Steps to reproduce:1. Share an album from Lightroom Mobile.2. Copy the share link (adobe.ly/...).3. Paste into Apple Mail or Messages on iPad, iPhone, or Mac.4. Observe the generic card instead of a rich preview with thumbnail. Expected behavior:When a Lightroom Mobile share link is pasted into Apple Mail, Messages, or other apps that support link previews, the card should display the album’s thumbnail as it did previously. Why this matters:Rich previews with thumbnails make shared albums more visually engaging and increase the likelihood recipients will click. The current generic link looks uninviting and could be mistaken for spam. Please restore the Open Graph (og:image, og:title, etc.) metadata on Lightroom share pages so link unfurling works again across email and messaging apps. Need one for those "armchair commentors" who don't add to the conversation with their mornic replies that do not add to the solve what so ever!
I'd like to have the cross closing icon at the upper right corner of the ACR window. The same function as the Cancel button, but in a more user friendly location, IMHO 🙂When I open files for a qick review and then want to close the window, intuitively I move the cursor to the upper corner... again and again. I believe, I'm not alone, heh
It works for ages in LR, why don't we have it in ACR?One scroll of the mouse wheel changes the value by 5 points (or 0.1 for the exposure). It's very handy.
Each time I open camera raw and want to remove relfections, the quality is set default to "preview".Can there be an option to set the default of reflections removal to another quality settings.I would suggest an option in "preferences"
Identify favorites in Generation History with a star so non-favorites can be selected and deleted more easily.
will be super awesome and life saving if there is ai auto crop
Since LRC is pretty good at finding and marking (visualising) spots, especially when looking at a clear sky, it should be a no-brainer to select those spots automatically. It could be a feature to use in the Healing panel where you could review and remove the ones you do not want to be erased manually afterwards. A kind of "detect spots automatically"-functionality only marking them just as you would do manually. This feature could remove some heavy lifting if you are faced with an image that accidentally happens to have a lot of spots. In the background, increasing dehazing could help LRC identify the areas so that the outline becomes clearer to recognise and then mark afterwards. When looking at a reasonably clear sky, you can see them clearly and want to remove them, so having LRC do most of the work for you would be a huge plus.
It's very annoying to find posters posting replies and then automatically marking their reply the correct one. This is particularly silly because once a comment is marked "correct", the thread is labeled SOLVED. Even if the OP still has the problem. This creates an incentive for Adobe Employees to mark problems solved giving the impression that there are fewer outstanding issues AND for experts to rack up their percent of problems SOLVED. So any one can post anything and then say they solved the problem, which will then bring people in using that solution. This can lead to:People trying to fix problems with solutions that don't work. That in turn leads to more posts on the same problem as people are going to start a new post without the alleged solutionSome people may be helped by the proposed solution. However this will lead to the thread being overwhelmed by responses about that solution. Unfortunately, this means the original poster's problem will be buried!Ideally, only the original poster should be able to mark that a solution solved the problem!
