P: Transform Grid formatOpen for Voting

I would like to see the automatic grid seen during 'Transform' actions to be seen when in 'Crop' mode, regardless of overlay selected. At the moment, the grid used remains until you exit crop mode, when the required grid becomes visible.   The reason is for layout I want to use 'thirds', as that provides the best tool for my use. However, shooting architecture, I require a lot of transform, when the basic 'grid' is preferred. If the switch was automatic, it would save me a considerable amount of time.   In other words, if I am in 'crop' mode and have 'thirds' overlay, if I use the transform tool I want to see the grid while transforming. It shows that way for all other modes except crop.

Integrating more layers together through A systemOpen for Voting

First of all, Thank you for your efforts to add features that help us. I hope that if there is a feature that can give the AI an image to put in a specific place in another image that could be amazing with some options to tweak between it and also, enable all the features through the live co-editing will be unique than other apps. Also, when placing a photo, why can't we add an option for it to make it? with curves or unique shapes without making a clipping mask.  Thank You, Bishoy

Generative fill pixel limit warningOpen for Voting

I know that there is a pixel limit to the generative fill, I just wish that there was a warning given in the generative fill dialogue box whenever that limit was exceeded.  It's especially important if I'm using some of the more organic selection tools and not just a rectangle or square.You know, something that would let me know that I was about to generate a blurry mess and not a quality fix.

P: Slideshow - inherit the sort order of the CollectionOpen for Voting

When creating a new saved Slideshow from a collection, it becomes a child of the collection. If the collection has sort Custom Order, then I want the Slideshow to inherit the same sort order.    With LrC 14.1, the sort order of the saved Slideshow always defaults to Capture Time. Although it can be manually changed by switching to Grid view, change sort order, then go back to Slideshow, and then export, this is seriously error prone and is often forgotten and thereby causes big problems with exported slideshows that exhibit wrong sort order. Therefore I request:   When creating a new saved Slideshow from a collection, the Slideshow should inherit the sort order of the Collection.

In the Develop module, control-click a preset and choosing 'Update with Current Settings' brings up the 'Update Develop Preset' panel/dialog.Request: The name of the panel/dialog that comes up should include the name of the preset I am about to update. This prevents accidental update of the wrong preset.

Outside stroke with square cornersOpen for Voting

I would like to be able to apply an outside stroke with square corners to any layer in Photoshop. The layer styles stroke tool always rounds the corners when setting the stroke to outside. I don't want the stroke inside because it covers up part of the layer. I know this can be done in the vector shape stroke tool, but I would like this same functionality to be available in the layer styles stroke tool panel. Or better yet, one tool to apply any kind of stroke to any layer would be great. I'd be happy with the same functionality in the existing tools, though. Thanks!

Adjustable Background Opacity in Premiere Pro’s Program MonitorOpen for Voting

Hi Adobe Team! 9:16 content is becoming more and more recurrent in my workflow, and its demand is only increasing. One of the challenges I often face when working on 9:16 cutdowns is reframing and positioning clips accurately without losing sight of the full image. Right now, when working in a 9:16 sequence, the black background in the Program Monitor completely obscures what’s outside the frame, making it difficult to adjust positioning properly in full context.Feature Request: Adjustable Background Opacity in the Program MonitorIt would be extremely useful if Premiere Pro allowed users to adjust the background opacity in the Program Monitor when working in different aspect ratios. This would help visualize elements beyond the cropped area, making reframing much more efficient without the need for workarounds.Possible Implementation Ideas:A slider in the Program Monitor settings (under the wrench icon) that allows users to adjust the opacity of the black background.A toggle option similar to the Transparency Grid, but instead of a checkerboard pattern, it would allow a semi-transparent background to help visualize content outside the frame.A function similar to Avid’s workflow, where users can work on a larger timeline with a visible overlay for 9:16, then export accordingly.Why This Feature Would Help:Speeds up reframing and repositioning without needing to constantly match frame for reference.Makes it easier to repurpose high-resolution footage for different aspect ratios.Would be particularly beneficial for social media editors, commercial video creators, and filmmakers who need to deliver multiple aspect ratios from the same source material. I’ve tried Avid’s approach, where they work on a high-resolution sequence with an overlay for 9:16, then export accordingly. While this is a functional workaround, I’m not sure if it truly makes sense in the long run for Premiere Pro’s workflow. Having a native way to control background opacity in the Program Monitor would greatly streamline this process.Thanks!!

Move and edit the default Proxy WatermarkOpen for Voting

Hi everyone, I am looking for a possibility to move the default watermark because it is annoying in the bottom left corner.   I know about the possibility of creating your proxy presets, but you have to determine the aspect ratio every time, which doesn't fit different aspect ratios. I can only avoid the aspect ratio problem using the Premiere Preset (Picture 1), but unfortunately, I cannot control the default watermarks position then.   I looked inside the Premiere Pro program files for an opportunity to edit the watermark and found the path to change the default watermark icon (Picture 2), which was too large for me. As you can see in the picture, I could replace it with my watermark. (Pictures 3 and 4)   Also, I found the ingest preset for proxies, but I couldn't edit the position in the Program Monitor (Picture 5)   Now, I am looking for the Encoding Preset that determines the position of the watermark (bottom left corner) to edit it. Does anyone know where it is located?   Using the default Premiere Proxy Preset would be great because it adapts all aspect ratios, with the opportunity to move the watermark, so it doesn't block chyrons.   Many thanks for considering my request.   Note: The moderator edited the text for clarity.

Targeted Adjustment Workflow ImprovementOpen for Voting

Hello! I use the targeted adjustment tool A LOT.  It would be great if I could access all of the parameters of an adjustment with the targeted adjustment tool with key or click modifiers when the targeted adjustment tool is active.   For example:I have a Hue/Sat adjustment layer selected with the targeted adjustment tool active, and if I hold down option or command while left clicking on an area of the image I am trying to adjust I will affect the Hue, or Brightness parameters rather than the saturation parameter. As far as I'm aware I can only affect the saturation parameter with targeted adjustment tool, and it interrupts the color correction flow when I need to go back to the adjustment panel and select the number field of parameter and use the arrow keys to dial in the adjustment so my attention stays on the image.   The now defunct Modo (RIP) had a nice feature (omni haul) that allowed the user to easily setup different click behaviors that affected different parameters.  You can see a video demo of it in action here. This would allow the user to keep focus on the image, without needing to go back to the adjustment panel.  The only drawback would be the tears of joy they cry at the revelation of such astounding efficiency would likely affect their color vision adversely.

Label Colors should auto-updateOpen for Voting

I define SFX and MUSIC under two different green layers, to help differentiate my music, stems, sound effects, etc., in the timeline and keep it organized.At this time I can select all bins and change all bin colors, but expanding the bins still have the original green.I can expand a bin and drag and select all items to color different (which should have a key shortcut to select all items in selected bin anyway), until I need to add a new SFX, which is again the original green.Is there a way to control label colors, or to have them update when dragging items in (i.e. dragging an item into an orange bin would color the label orange)? This would be way more useful mid-edit than to spend so long pre-edit to organize my assets, and then still stumble mid-edit to organize again.

There should be better indicators for why Ripple Delete is not possibleOpen for Voting

To play whack-a-mole with your timeline to find why a certain track is unable to be ripple deleted is insanity-inducing. The sync-locks on this sidebar should be highlighted or maybe not highlighted if you try to ripple delete. There should be better indicators for why a simple command is not functioning.My use case is cutting out dead spots in vocal audio to align with clips and stay independent of the backing song track. To accomplish this I need to continually variably trim, select, slide, etc., ad nauseum just to slide a track left. Come on you guys!! Please!! So many instances of this app are completely devoid of situational context clues about its workflow and hardstops! Come on! My entire past month in this forum is constantly ringing the bell for new ones that fail to be noticed or changed that would benefit everybody.

mp4 videos render incomplete WITHOUT ANY WARNINGOpen for Voting

When you export a video to some mp4 format, what Premiere does is that it renders first video and audio to 2 separate files and then it combines them to mp4, that's why it's stuck on 100% for a while when rendering.The problem is that when creating the mp4 there's not enough space on the disk, the mp4 file will be created but incomplete, it can be played normally, it will show the length video is supposed to have but if you try to play the video at the end, it won't play. Problem is that Premiere doesn't let you know in any way that there's not enough space for creating the mp4 because while creating it separate audio and video files need to be also on the disk. Premiere can warn you about low disk space but it doesn't work for mp4 files properly. For example if Premiere shows estimate file size 3.5GB and there is 3GB of space on the disk then it will warn you. If you have 4.4GB of free space then it won't warn you and the file will be incomplete. Realistically it's good to have 3x or 4x the free space than Premiere shows to be sure.How to replicate this issue:render mp4 files which has file estimate which is for example half of free disk space

Favorite LibrariesOpen for Voting

Add abilitity to favorite libraries to pin them at top the library panel where recent is. There should be no limit to the number you can pin. I offten find myself swapping between client libraries and utility-based global libraries. It would be great to pin the active accounts and the utilites for faster workflow.

Suggestion: Improve Shared Timeline to Highlight Finished ProjectsOpen for Voting

I’ve been enjoying Project Neo and its community features, but I’ve noticed an issue with the shared timeline. Since every new project is automatically shared and starts as a white cube on a green plane, the timeline gets flooded with identical-looking starter projects. This makes it difficult to discover creators’ finished or more developed work. Would it be possible to:1. Allow users to manually choose when to share a project rather than making every new project automatically shared?2. Filter out or hide default starter projects from the timeline unless the creator adds meaningful changes?3. Introduce a “Finished Work” or “Featured Projects” section to highlight polished creations? I believe this would make the timeline more engaging and useful for the community. Hey adobe team  I would really love of u add the show download size option and if u add the resume and pause option then this would be a blast please add this cuz I don't wifi at my home and it's difficult for me to download anything from my mobile internet I only get 2.5Gb per day and I only have downloaded illustrator and now I want to download Photo shop but I don't know the actual size of it so it is difficult for me . Thank you Adobe teamMe mystic
