Sometimes but not always, the resulting flv video file recorded has corrupted time stamps.The recording is done by creating a recording stream and republish the user stream to the recording stream.The ffprobe dump shows one frame at the beginning of the file which start at time zero. The next frame immediately has time stamp in the 40s mark.This corrupted flv playback various depends on player but it never plays correctly.Running the flvcheck does not report error and -s does not fix the problem.Thanks

We have been running AMS for years, we recently switched to centOS from Windows.  We used the same license key, but now all content is cut off at 10 minutes of playback time.  When logging into the Admin console everything looks fine?  We have tried entering the key in the console as well as in the ams.ini file with no luck. When we enter the license within the console we get a pop-up that states, "submitted for approval" after adding the new license key.  We should note this is on a close network, but has been like this all along.  This use to work just fine in Windows????  Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is a production issue.

After update the flash player to the latest version of 18.0.0.209. The audio recording on FMS 3.5 has encountered problems instantly.The recorded audio is totally distorted. The same problem happened before in June but fixed later when flash player was updated to 18.I have read somewhere is the forum that indicated this has something to do with NellyMoser codec. Can anyone give me advice as to this problem?Regards.shih

But i have configuration problems.In ams.ini i can change content directory with another one which from local drives. Hello,I'm preparing to use AMS for building my live broadcast platform, my application scenario is as follows:Firse, I deployed 3 ams servers, the AMS1 is located in the LAN, the AMS2 and AMS3 is located in the internet. I use FMLE to capture video and push stream to AMS1.Second, I use AMS1 to push live stream to AMS2 and AMS3.(Because AMS1 dosen't has a public IP address).And I would like to add/delete the target server address of pushing without stopping/restart the service on AMS1.Third, the LAN users receive live stream from AMS1, the WAN users receive live stream from AMS2 and AMS3.My question is, How do I configure the AMS1? Hy guys,I have 2 servers, Server 1 with FMS 4.5 and Server 2 with AMS 5 both on Ubuntu 14.04. On Server 1 a build a custom application, Server 2 uses just livepkgr for serving clients.My appliction on Server 1 receive 3 streams from FMLE. In this application i have a "chain" of streams that carry out each stream independent. At the end of streams chain i republish each stream to Server 2 livepkgr application.So, this is working great with live streams, i can serve RTMP, HTTP, HLS, HDS.In Server 1 in the chain of streams i get a stream and play an mp4 file. The livepkgr application on Server 2 works well with this "switch" on RTMP, but the application don't record the stream, so on mobile i don`t see the switch... i see something green till the file ends and the stream that switched on file goes back on live.I tried to encode a file with Adobe Media Encoder with H264 on profile Main and Level 3.2, and it works great on mobile too.I tried to encode the same file with ffmpeg, handbreak...

Windows 10 downloaded Adobe Flash Player 32-bit and my computer is a 64-bit?  I get green screens when trying to see Facebook videos and had to download google to get You Tube videos.  How do I change 32-bit to 64-bit when Adobe states you have windows 10 and flash player is already on your computer.  It won't let me in to fix this problem?

I am using FMS 4.5, it's a livestream application.Sometimes, with a small amount of people, something around 45, FMS seems to stop send data to client.All clients only receive livestream.bootstrap and no one receive livestreamSeg-Frag anymore.Took around 5 minutes and then everyone starts receive the stream againAny ideas? However the result I'm getting is like this: How can I fit the cam output to cover the .swf entirely (covering all black area)? or there is a pre-built encoder like Flash Media Live Encoder that I can embed on my website?Thanks in advance!

I'd like to be able to manually extract the HDS fragments and segments from a .f4f file.  I have the .f4m and .f4x as well.  Once extracted, I'd like to be able to host the fragments and segments on a standard origin (web) server such as Amazon S3.  Is there any way to do this?  If not, does Adobe have any plans on releasing such a tool?

I have a Problem. My Problem is:  I installed the Adobe Media Server on my Server.Now all Domains from my Server showing the Adobe Starting Page and not the Files for the Domain. Can anybody help please?I tried different Ip for Domains and Adobe Server. If I go to mysite1.com or mysite2.com i see the Adobe Media Server Starting Page.

I have added an external hard drive to our FMS/Apache server and mapped the hard drive so that those files can be streamed from there. All of the files stored on this external hard drive stream via rtmp and http with no problems. My question is this: what changes need to be made to Apache so that these files be accessed via a direct link so that they can be downloaded by our users? For example, we can provide direct links for the files stored in the webroot/vod folder at: http://ipaddress/hls-vod/movie.mov     The files stored in the external folder can be streamed/played from http://ipaddress/hls-vod2/movie.mov.m3u8 or rtmp://ipaddress/vod/mp4:movie.mov, but http://ipaddress/hls-vod2/movie.mov cannot be accessed directly by our users (it does not work as a direct link to the file). I would like to make all of the files stored in our external vod2 folder downloadable by having direct http links to all of them.Thanks

Hi! We have been using Flash Media Server to successfully stream our local TV station on the internet for a few years. In the past, we just directed a flash video player client to point to the RTMP live stream on the server. However, we want to begin supporting iOS devices. I therefore upgraded to version 4.5. (We use RHEL.. Linux FMS Server)I understand we need to switch over to HTML streaming. To begin, I can't get videos to stream online anymore! At this point I'm not worried about testing on an iOS devices. For purposes of this discussion, I'm just trying to get streaming working again on a flash client on a computer using the Adobe Media Sample Video Player utility. Any path I enter will not show the video stream. I'll provide details below:On the Flash Media Encoder, it is successfully encoding the stream using VP6 with audio in MP3 (essentially same settings we've always used).
