Hi,  I am working on the multicast application. In the server-side actionscript, when creating the netstream with groupspec, like:ns = new NetStream(streamContext.netConnection, streamContext.groupspec);  It seems like the netConnection need to be set with rtmfp protocol, since I got the following when I connect via rtmp.Multicast NetConnection Status: NetConnection.Connect.Success, Source stream: livestreamMULTICAST PUBLISH ERROR: Failed to construct multicast NetStream. Error: Error Failed to execute method (NetConnection protocol must be rtmfp if groupspec parameter is present). Reported Error : ., Source stream: livestream   Is there a way that we can connect to a pure rtmp source at the upstream and do rtmfp multicast at the downstream only? Thanks,Peter

Adobe media server 5.0 is running IIS and inbuild Apache. When I applied SSL cert to apache, the https request always gets redirected to http.The website using https protocol and I am not able to frame video player (running on Apache). Hi,I am using Adobe Media server 5.0.6 standard edition to stream videos in our portal. With login students can access the streaming videos. Through the portal they cannot download the video. But using some tools they are downloading the videos by directly hitting the Media server path. [http://yyyy.edu:8134/vod/new/chapter1.mp4] How can I prevent the download. My server Windows 2012 R2 Portal running on IIS 8.0Please help me.

Hi,I have an AMS v.5.0.15 running to serve videos for 4 domains of mine via HTML5 video players.My problem is that I can't seem to restrict access to my video streams to my 4 domains only. I can type the http://mydomain.com:8134/hls-vod/video.f4v.m3u8 in my browser(safari) from my home PC and the stream plays straight away. Am I wrong by assuming that by restricting the allowed domains in Vhost.xml, Adapter.xml and crossdomain.xml - only requests coming from the allowed domains will be granted? I have followed the AMS Hardening guide but no luck so far....Any help is highly appreciated.

Hello,I have pretty regular setup with fmle encoder and AMS 5.0.14 on the same windows PC.For testing purposes I run ffmpeg like this:ffmpeg -rtmp_live live -i rtmp://localhost/live/stream -f null -Stream disconnects every 7h 50 s.I do not see disconnects on fmle side and do not see anything helpful in logs.Should not default live app support 24/7 streaming?Tips and debug suggestions are appreciated.

Hi,I encounter a strange behavior when I ingest a stream from a multicast group and record it.if the ingest unpublish and republish or if there are gaps the record just stop without to fireany event. I am able to connect FLASH LIVE MEDIA ENCODER to FLASH MEDIA SERVER and make a TEST but my problem I do not know how to make sure that what I broadcast live arrives directly on the website.I hope I have been clear and thank you again to everyone in advance.

(jeromiec83223024 (Staff) said I should continue in this forum.)Copying from / Summing up the above link:When I put my computer to sleep, with File Explorer windows open, and then wake it up, sometimes (not every time) the File Explorer Folder List (the left-hand pane, NOT the right-hand contents pane) will jump up and down every few seconds, and Task Manager shows Explorer at the top of the CPU time. I have noticed that the jumping appears to be caused by AMS Server, which blinks in and out of the Folder List, as if the computer recognizes it is there and then does not and then does again and then does not and etc etc etc. When this occurs, sometimes killing and restarting Explorer from the Task Manager fixes it. When this does not fix it, I have to restart the computer.Please note that this is not related to issues out there dealing with Windows themes or colors that auto-cha

Hi, I apologize if this is the wrong way to get help but I had a question on Adobe Illustrator and your website made it extremely diffucult to find an option inncluding that system. I desperately need Adobe Illustrator for my high school graphic design 1 class. We use the software at school but I'm very behind and wanted to work at home. I have a 27-inch, late 2013, iMac. It wont let me download : "This computer does not meet the minimum system requirements for Illustrator CC. Please refer to the system requirements in the Help documentation for a full list of hardware and software requirements for Illustrator CC." Yes, I did check the system requirements and copied them to my notes but I have no clue how to resolve the issue. Does anyone know where I can find which requirements I'm not meeting and how to solve the requirements I'm not currently meeting?Thank you,

I'd like to capture the audio data from an RTMFP stream to which the client is subscribed (so I get a bytearray of audio samples).The presence of the audioSampleAccess propery on the NetStream class certainly makes that sounds possibe:For RTMFP connections, specifies whether peer-to-peer subscribers on this NetStream are allowed to capture the audio stream. Hi,With new adobe media server 5 we are able to add live and vod applications.Both applications are showing good status in admin console.But when we try to add our custom application it doesn’t allow to save new application.After checking on different forum we have found with standard license it will not allow us to add any custom application other than vod and live.We are using this application in media server 3.5 and it works perfect.We need your help to add our existing application to new server.
