Media Server (read-only)

I'm trying to do a noise reduction by performing the Capture noise point.  When I select apply from the wizard I get this error.  Here is the screen shot of what the error messages says as well as the version I'm currently running.   Really need to get this resolved.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot access my stream outside of my LAN.  I have port 1935 forwarded to the IP for my machine.I have tried both live and livepkgr apps.I have used the urls:rtmp://mystaticip:1935/livertmp://mystaticip:1935/live/livestreamhttp://mystaticip:1935/livepkgrhttp://mystaticip:1935/livepkgr/livestreamNot sure if I am having a syntax or a config error.I have spent a couple days trying to solve this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I received an email that Adobe was dropping support for FMS AMIs. I use "fms-4.5.5.8002-centos-5.5-ami-10 - ami-07ed6f6e" fairly regularly and want to know if it will be removed from the Community AMIs by Adobe?

    I have upgraded my laptop to windows 10. I have a pre-installed Flash player in my laptop when I bought it. My problem now is that flash player won't run in my windows 10. Upon checking, my updated version is 25.0.0.148 and I am using Google Chrome as browser. I already did everything to make it work but still it does not apply. Please help me in resolving this issue. i useing p2p with as3. i use NetStream.play ,it  work ok.after about 10 minutes,it happen "NetStream.Connect.Closed".so i use NetStream.play again,it work again.repeat this cycle.help me . .

Hi ,I am publishing my live stream with rtmpt protocol on port 80,to overcome network proxy.But  after 10 to 15 minutes (telecast) video get stuck and connection get lost.But i don'thave this problem when i use rtmp protocol with port 1935. please reply if i need to do some thing else.RegardsNitesh Kumar

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes.  I'd like to hear from anyone using Flash Media Live Encoder for long format webcasts (1 hour or longer).  Is a software solution viable compared to an encoder appliance or card?  I'd like to use this on a laptop for portability reasons, but I need assurance that it will work.  Otherwise I'll go with a desktop computer and an encoder card.  Your recommendations?Also, can I encode using Flash Media Live Encoder and record an AVI or MPG2 directly to the same computer for creating DVD's?  Will a laptop or desktop be able to handle this much processing?

I have some UTF-8 folder containing recorded movies but apparentlyAMS does not play them. Any clue?

Hi All,My office is looking for a tool that we can incorporate with our streaming server to pull analytics from. We did use a tool that reads the data logs called Deep Log analyzer but we found the product to be a little convoluted. It analyzes website traffic to see and we can build reports on them. Is there any other tools that are similar to this one that we can possibly use? Cheers

Current situation: Our website sells audio files. Everything is currently in-house. Shoppers can listen to a 30 second demo of each product. We're serving these up from FLV files via RTMP from our FMS. These are streamed from our website with a Flash player.  We are setting up a new site to be mobile friendly. But we have no idea how to best proceed.Need to know:  How can we can stream our FLV OR MP3 files to all platforms... html5, ios and android? We are willing to put them in another location or purchase a new streaming server/software.  We just have no idea!Please give us any advice or expertise

I am using adobe media server 5, Ubuntu. I am trying to enable ssl in key file, so i did uncomment the line #LoadModule modules/mod_ssl.so, and include httpd-hls-secure.conf. And changed related parameters in conf file.When i try to restart the apache, i am getting below error.Cannot load /opt/adobe/ams/Apache2.2/modules/mod_ssl.so into server: /opt/adobe/ams/Apache2.2/modules/mod_ssl.so: undefined symbol: SSLv2_client_method.How to fix this.

Is Media Server 5 supported to run on a virtual machine?

due to customer requirement for his app we have to use the old 3.5 version, the server is an Intel L5420 (8 cores), 16 giga RAM with centos 6.8 -64 bit. it goes up to 700 -800 video chat users, when it goes over that the app restarts although not the FMS. Monitoring while at 500 users, the cpu usage was 65%.The same app works fine on a X5660 Intel  processor,with more or less the same system and RAM.Is there anything we can do on settings side so to use the 5420 which is much cheaper then the 5660?thanks

When I go to my free poker site to play, I get a message telling me to right click to set up flash player. I use a chrome 55 chromebook which has a square control pad and no mouse so I do not have the ability to "right click", is my flash player already running, is this right click instruction a valid one and is my chrome 55 just getting this instrution pointlessly, I have done as much as I can to get these questions answered and am running out of options, any info on this will be most appreciated, thanks people.
