Media Server (read-only)

Can someone help me with the process of downloading the flashplayer? Every time that I download it, it says that its good but when i go to check my downloads, its not there.

I would like to know which Flash Media Edition supports RTMFP? I know Flash Media Enterprise supports RTMFP but that's unfortunately out of my price range. FMS Streaming server doesn't support either RTMFP or ip multicast. My question is...does FMS interactive server support RTMFP? I have read reviews but i found them rather confusing. If someone can clarify this for me i would appreciate it before i decide to purchase the edition.Thank You

I have set up the developer version of the Flash Media Gateway, and it is working great,  however when I receive a SIP refer message from the Gateway,  the Gateway does not seem to deal with it properly (the line goes dead). Is SIP refer supported in FMG?  If so,  any idea on how to get the refer working?

Hi, the title is a bit vague, but here is the problemWe are running FMS 4.03 (updated form 4.0) and at the same time we moved from 32 bit to 64 bit, AND we moved our app and data to the D drivewe stream (we have radio stations across the globe) by people out at a high quality.since the move, the songs, promos, etc do not start at the start. Sometimes they are okay, but for many it misses the first few seconds - or as people now describe it as a 'hicup'. went through the forum/help and increased the chunk size (from 4096 to 8192) in FMS.ini, and the cache flv size (from 500 to 2000) in Applications.xmlbut it is 'still' happening.any help wopuld be appreciated.also if there is someone who is good at FMS and is very reasonable in charging as we are strapped for cash that can look at what we are dong that would also be great.

why doesn't WebcamMax show up as a device for Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder

I keep running into PCI compliance issues with FMIS and all of them involve the Apache version that is included with it. The current update uses Apache 2.2.21, but the problem involved was fixed in Apache 2.2.22. The problems are listed at mitre.org with these CVE numbers: CVE-2011-3607, CVE-2012-0031 and CVE-2012-0053. Come on, Adobe, fix it!

Hello everyone,When playing .FLV files using RTMP in FMS 4.5, the administration console indicates "live" rather than "stored".  The Strobe player shows "buffering" text.   No video plays.Can anyone offer assistance with this issue?Thanks in advance.Ken Mansfield

Hello,I'm using FMS development version ( last version ), I activated FMS as proxy for HTTP server, this is part of fms.ini :SERVER.HTTPD_ENABLED = falseADAPTOR.HOSTPORT = :1935,80HTTPPROXY.HOST = localhost:82On port 82 I'm running apache, that is installed from default repositories of the amazon EC2 server ( Linux AMI ), here runs a website ( Drupal ).There is other website that runs in https, where we record video from webcam to FMS server and play recorded video, with no problems.The problem is in http site, the navigation across the whole site works fine but not in some POST request, when I try to login into drupal admin works for all browsers in windows but not for Chrome in Linux. When I try to create a new content by web ( use a form sending info by POST ) doesn't work for any browser, looks like FMS took that request as video-stremming and doesn't pass to apache server. ( Everything on Drupal site works if we don't use FMS as proxy in port 80 )What can I do to fix that? is th

so normally i render from (1920X1080 HD project) to a master file: Avid DNxHD Codec 960x540 (.mov file) 1920X1080 29.97 222.05 mbits/sec then convert different versions (1920X1080, 1280X720, 640X368) to MP4 using handbrake what file (s) do i need to render from Vegas Pro to achieve "Encode once and deliver across platform" from one file (isnt that what FMS promises?)where are detailes of how to render from NLE

HI!Iv got a succesfull FMS project. I would like to configure it to work by RTMPT. So I just changed the url to use RTMPT. IT works great. Only one problem. When connecting to FMS:_gatewayUrl = "rtmpt://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80/myname";nc.connect(_gatewayUrl, userData);I have to work about 30 seconds to connect. When I get NetConnection.Connect.Success everything what continue goes smoothly (connecting to SO. calls etc)What can be the problem?Ive set ADAPTOR.HOSTPORT = :80P.

I have an updated version of Adobe Flash on my computer but yet everytime I go on youtube to download a video a red box comes up inside of the video box displaying some message saying that something is wrong with Adobe Flash. But then the message disappears after a few minutes and I'm still not able to download my videos to Realplayer ( the download box will not pop up above the video anymore ). Can you please help me find out what's wrong.

We have one server running FMS 4.5  we need add another server and create a cluster with a second FMS? do we need FM Interactive Server or FM Streaming Server? Do we need a third server with load balancing?

Hi,I'd really appreciate anyone's help with this.  Please keep in mind that I'm a newbie at this, so try not to get too technical, thanks !I'm hooked up to the internet with a satellite connection which achieves an average of 7.5mps up and 1.75 download speed.This should be more than adequate to be able to stream video via the Flash Media Encoder, yet it doesn't seem to work.  It keeps considering my speed as too slow.This is probably due to the typical "latency" which satellite connections have (ping is slow).Is there a way around this by configuring the Flash Media Encoder differently without having to sacrifice the quality of the image ?Thank you very much,cheers,PATRICK

I am using Chrome and when watching Hulu Plus, the picture is choppy and the voices don't match the faces. Hulu suggested that I download an earlier version of flash player and I tried that but it keeps sending me to the latest version. It won't uninstall it either. Any suggestions?

Hi allDoes anyone know how to create a script of some kind to grab a still picture from a live stream and save it as a JPG file?In this way a cron job can tricker the script and thereby grab a picture fx every 10'th minute and the picture can be shown on a website so people that are not attending can have a look into what is happening in the live stream.Can anyone help?

hello, I am using Netgroups with FMS(rtmfp). I can connect to the Netgroup (reiceve NetStatusEvent "NetGroup.Connect.Success") but that is all. I can't post anything or see that someone has joined the Netgroup, no NetStatusEvent fires. Hi all,I'm install Flash Media Development Server follow this tutorial. When finish, I'm go to Adobe Flash Media Server Start Screen to verify HDS, HLS, RTMP. But HDS (mutiple & single bitrate), RTMP (mutiple bitrate) have error #2032.How can I fix it ??

Hello, I will start using HDS to my videos and I have a simple question.I have access to the F4M generator on my server, so I go there put the name of my files, bitrate and etc and save the manifest file and call it on strobe for example.But, If I use the F4F packager it will generate a .F4M file for me, so which one do I need to use?I am going to use multi-bitrate files and strobe media playback.Thanks a lot.
