OP HERE:   Best I can do is make a mask roughly the maximum size I'd want to accommodate any logo dimensions (300 x 80px, for example), import an image(logo) and scale it large enough to completely fill the mask regardless of the bad crop. Think I'm having a similar issue. A month or so back InDesign was noticeably lagging a good 1-2 seconds any time I used to the type tool to move my cursor into a text box. This issue feels very similar although no longer isolated to only the text tool. It seems to happen intermittently, maybe 1 out of every 2-3 actions results in a subtle freeze, beachball delay for a few seconds. Almost as though I'm working in a very system intensive file, but that is not the case. I'm in High Sierra (10.13.6). No crash reports. This issue happens regardless of whether I have any other apps open. Restarting seems to help for a little while- but throughout my work day I'm restarting 2-3 times out of frustration. ... The reason why "Centering" doesn't work is because the command line is deactivated with "//". Just remove those two backslashes and it would work. Great script though, saved me hours of going page by page in a massive banking form I'm building. ... View more
