I have a tilelist that contains multiple thumbnails. I want to be able to select(click on)a thumbnail and the file will advance to a later frame. This is similar to using a button and the "gotoAndPlay" script but I am just unsure of how to do it within a tilelist. Any suggestions would be great.

Hello, I've been searching in vain for a way to import a text file into Photoshop. I've managed to locate a script which exports a text layer into a .txt file. Was hoping to find the reverse...( import a .txt file which creates a workable type on it's own layer.) can this be done? Thanks for any help Jeff
Hi, I am a postscript newbie and I hope that this is not a stupid question . I hope this is a right forum. I am trying to wrap text on different lines. For example, if I have a text "Karthik Krishnan \n 847 N 700 E , \n Logan, UT 84321\n", I would like it to appear on different lines. It keeps appearing on the same line. This is a syntax that I have /Arial findfont 10 scalefont setfont 10 70 moveto ("Karthik Krishnan \n 847 N 700 E , \n Logan, UT 84321\n") show always returns the text on the same line. Please help me.

I have an automated batch process that creates a 33 page pdf file from an Excel worksheet using VBA. We have just purchased a new PC and bought Adobe 8.0 to go with it. Typically, using our other (lower spec) PC's it takes approximately 9 seconds to create the postscript file, it now takes around 27 seconds using Adobe 8.0. I have timed the other parts of the process (Excel data crunching) and they are quicker using the new PC. All Adobe settings are the same as our Adobe 7.0 enabled PC's. I changed the Default Page Size setting from millimetres to points which brought creation time down from 36 to 27 seconds, however I cannot find any other reasons for the slow performance. Has anyone suffered similar performance issues with Adobe 8.0 ? Brian
Looking to buy a new Black only laser printer, and having a hard time finding ones that are true postscript. Since Postscript is owned by Adobe, I believe, I thought there might be a list of true printers somewhere. Anyone seen such a thing. Looking to replace an old HP Laserjet 6MP with something more current, but not break the bank. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post.
Hello. I have some commercial pdf documentation (purchased) that I am able to print pages from, but I cannot seem to do much with the postscript output when I print to file with a postscript printer selected. I want to add notes and make a few changes, but I cannot open the pdfs in Acrobat 5. I have tried several printers and PDFCreator as the selected printer. Ghostscript on Linux and Distiller 5.0 in Windows XP give the error listed in the subject. I printed from Acrobat Reader 4, which is required. I will update a driver if anyone thinks that will help, but I would like to try to manually fix the error in the postscript. Here is the file (27kB), which is the postscript print output of printing a single blank page. http://geocities.com/hildstromolo/printoutput.ps My research so far tells me that invalidaccess indicates: *Trying to write to a read-only dictionary. For example, systemdict /junk 1 put. User code must put use userdict /junk 1 put. *Trying to put an object in local memo
When I use Acrobat 8 to print scanned images to a postscript file an additional images is generated in the postscript file. Dependent on the value (1 or 2) behind the "/O" command this image appears in the pdf after I distilled the postscript with Distiller 8. Does anyone know what this "/O" command does or I can manipulate it with a setting in Acrobat 8? Thanks in advance.
