Premiere Elements

A video that I had in my phone I downloaded to my computer , trim the video , saved to mobil and them saved back to my cellular, now when I watch the video in my cellular vertically shows the imagen top to bottom is ok but them left to right  is really narrow impossible to see it and if I turn the cellular horizontal  is too small ,don't know how to fix this problem, Thanks, Armando

I have two people speaking in one audio track of a video.  One is asking interview questions, the other answering.  I want to completely eliminate the interviewer asking questions -their waveform and just leave the person's voice answering the questions.  Is this possible? How?  I'm going nuts.

I have some 30 hours of archival video worked on P/E7 and windows XP, which I wish to rework using windows 10.   An upgrade package is offered by Adobe but it  seems to only upgrade from a higher version.   The upgrade for photoshop elements starts at F/S7 (which I also have,but do not wish to upgrade).   If I buy the upgrade, will I be able to rework all the old material? I am sending this again as I may have not entered the question correctly!   John

I have PE14 running on Win10-64bit and ATI Radeon 3000 (AMD Athlon II x4 640 with 8Gb RAM). Every now and then the display in the preview area goes grayscale and inverted (upside down), and sometimes it remains right-side-up, but dims out with negative colors (somewhat like looking at a negative for an old color photograph). This doesn't otherwise effect the operation of the program and videos export okay, but it is a nuisance.I haven't discovered any pattern to this failure, it sometimes happening after rendering, sometimes upon importing a new image to the timeline, and some days it never happens at all. The only way I've found to correct it is to close the project, and then reopen it.I've read other posts about problems with the preview panel. None of them seem to describe this same quirky behavior, but most of them seem to point to the video card or its drivers. Hi everyone, I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 11 on a mid 2012, '13 inch MacBook Pro with 4GB of Ram and a 500GB hard drive. I've tried to import some footage on a Sony HVR-A1E/A1P camcorder. Unfortunately when I try to open the DV camcorder import, Premiere Elements immediately crashes, leaving me unable to import the footage that I need to. I don;t have any other issues with Adobe Premiere Elements, other than the DV camera import. Thank you!

I'm using Premiere  Elements 14 on PCAll updates are good.Issue is this...when I go to used one of the Hollywood Effects and drag the effect to the video clip,the program locks up and I have to restart the program. Does this every single time.My PC has plenty of everything...able to run Adobe After Effects with no issues.So what gives?

I bought Premiere Elements 15 a few weeks ago but just now started using it but it is very hard as the fonts in the menus are too small to read. I am going blind trying to read them. I had Premiere and the whole interface was adjustable. I am running WIndows 10 on a laptop. Even going into the display settings for the laptop and changing the resolution and font sizes there (to 150%), the menu font in, for example Preferences, is still too small to read. Why can't I do this in Elements?JC

I just got a Sony a6300 camera and I will be doing video with it as well as stills. I don't like the 29 minute cap on recording time so I am thinking of getting a Ninja Blade recorder. Here are the codecs it records in:Codecs  Apple ProRes HQ, 422, LT  AVID DNxHD 220x, 220, 145, 36does anyone know if these can be edited in any PreEl programs?thanks

Just got my elements 15 disc which my PC (Windows) does not recognise. I understand that I must register and insert my unique serial number that was on the box but dont know where to go to register the product. Can anyone help?

I had to rotate my video clip 90 degrees to the right and some of my video is cropped and isn't filling the entire frame. How can I get it to fill the entire frame without cutting some of the footage out of the clip? Thanks. I have Premiere Elements 14.

Hi.Looking for some help.I'm working on a wedding dvd  which is 1hr 38min long ( about 4.36gb ).  I have created several other wedding video's before without any problems. When burning to disc, I am getting a " Encoding Error" when I get to 39%, I have started the project several times, double checked I do not have any gabs in the media and still get the same outcome.Can anyone help????? On my Windows 10 machine (64 Bit) I do use Premiere Elements for more than a year. However, after I installed most recent Windows 10 Update, it does not start any more.It stops the starting process telling me that it is not starting and that it will inform me when a solution has been found. So it is now worthless as it does not start.I workd with 14,1... an also tried to delete and reinstall the origional 14,0 Version from Disc. Still the same error. No Chance to start the application again. What can I do. Please help!

I have imported the Dog Paw Trail.swf file that Premiere Elements uses if you create an Instant Movie with the Doggie Days theme into a project of my own.  The problem is that I can't figure out how to make the Dog Paw Trail.swf play longer.  I have tried dragging the Trim From End to the right, but it won't change.  Is it possible to make the swf play longer?  If so, how?

This I think is an old issue about "File already exists" when importing from a video camera.I am using Adobe Premiere Elements version 10 and a MacBook Pro Sierra version 10.12.4I am unable to alter any of the save parameters and so when trying to store imported files receive a message "File already exists"Previous answers to this question have suggested saving with a different file name and or catalogue. This is not available to me as the choices seem to be fixed.Any help would be appreciated.

I have Adobe Premiere Elements 15 and I use it on a MacBook Air.  I have about 50 different video clips on the Video 1 track and bout 3 minutes of background music (a single song) on the Music Track.  I am making a music video.  I want to move clips around within the video from one section to another (e.g. change the order in which the video clips appear in the project).   When I move the video clips, my music track splits and forms a gap equal to the the length of the video track I moved. So my music track automatically splits and creates a gap with no sound.  I want the music track to remain unchanged while I move the different video tracks around in the Video 1 track.  I can't figure out how to do that!!!!  Please help.

Each time I burn to disc, then check disc on the laptop, all is ok, but when used in DVD player get a message "not PAL" Is there an option to select PAL or NTSC when burning to disc?.

I am new to the Adobe Premiere Elements video editing software (Premiere Elements 15). I had been experiencing minor playback issues with my project, and had been receiving the "for playback errors, render your timeline" message. After researching what exactly it meant to render your timeline and having a brief understanding of it, I decided to render the entire project that I had made so far. Now I am experiencing major playback issues with my project. Keep in mind that I am new to the software, and realize that I may have done something wrong, but I would like to know if I can fix these playback issues. Can anyone help?

HelloI am hoping to add a slideshow created in Elements Organiser to a MP4 movie project created in Premiere Elements (11) where they will be burnt as part of the same project to a DVD - that is, the movie will play and end, and then the slideshow will begin immediately after the movie clip and end.From the Help files, I understand that I create the MP4 file and save it. Then I create the slideshow in Elements Organiser (I note that there is no 'Save As' under 'File' in Elements Organiser), so this file, the slideshow, is always 'open' and unsaved in Elements Organiser, so to speak. With this slideshow in Elements Organiser open, and my movie project in Premiere Elements also open, do I then go to File | Add media from | Elements Organiser in Premiere Elements and add my (as yet, uncreated) Elements Organiser file to the Timeline in Premiere Elements?The MP4 file has the same pixel dimensions as the slideshow photos as I have resized them all, and all the photos have the same resolutio

First of all I did something quite foolish. I purchased Premiere Elements 15 thinking it was Photoshop Elements 15. I didn't realize it until after I installed the software. It was working fine at that point though, but then I went back out to purchase Photoshop Elements 15 and after installing photoshop now premiere isn't working.I feel like a fool because I beat myself out of 50 bucks.[Moved from FAQ, which is not for questions, to regular forum... I have a screen recorder for my computer, recording at 1680,1050 and thats what Premiere elements is rendering out as. But no matter what there is an ugly black trim that makes the video look terrible.Ex. IM NOT USING THIS AS A SELF PROMOTION BUT AS MERELY AN EXAMPLETHANK YOU FOR 100 SUBSCRIBERS! - YouTube When you first click you can easily see that there is the ugly black trim.Anyone know how to fix??

In media view, Organizer 12 will only display a filmstrip icon, not the first frame of video, for MP4 files.  If I click on the file, it opens up fine in Organizer, but it is annoying not to be able to see the film clip instead of the filmstrip icon.  MOV files are just fine, as are JPG and etc.  I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 on two Dell systems and have tried this on both:  exact same problem.  I uninstalled and reinstalled PPE several times.  A couple of others on here have indicated that they have the same problem and I tried all suggestions posted to date.  Any new suggestions?  Thanks.

Hello, I have just installed PE 7 trial and on the video editor area it displays: "Created with Adobe Premier Elements 7 trial version" Can this be removed whilst still trialing it? I received some customer service online from adobe and they said yes it can be without buying it and told me to call 1800 833 6687. That was a sales number and they couldn't help and technical support line is closed. Any info appreciated. Thank You!

I want to skip the main menu and have the DVD open straight to the scenes menu. Is it possible to delete the main menu all together in Premiere Elements 14? I looked at all the themes and they all have a main menu page. If thats not possible, could you set the main menu to open to the scene menu after a certain amount of time?
