Now that you've tested your gear, you have a story idea for your film, and even have script and storyboard, it's time to create your final plan for your film shoot before you head to the location. A plan is important for which tasks are done, in which order are tasks done, and who does each task.   A plan for a film shoot is sometimes called a "brief." The brief might involve the following: shot list shooting schedule list of locations list of actors equipment list a storyboard (optional)   Shot List What can help you immensely at any film shoot is a shot list. This is a list containing an entry for each shot that must be recorded for the story. A shot list for a narrative film is ultimately derived from the script. By first creating a "breakdown" of the script, you can create things like a shot list and a shooting schedule. From the script breakdown, you'll be aware of the details of the items that need to be listed in the shot list; things like location, time

You've done your due diligence and completed your prep. You've created a story and all the planning that goes with it. Your checklist is complete and you're ready to go. It's time to put your plan in action.  Head to the shoot with plenty of time to spare. You'll want to be the first one there and definitely plan to be the last to leave.   Good luck!   Once you return from the shoot, you can begin editing. Storytelling Techniques Be it devising a screenplay for a short film, or planning the writing for a doc, vlog, etc., it does help to write within some kind of framework. Knowing the basic structure of most dramas will help you get started in thinking about the structure of the story before you begin the actual process of writing. Think of the following as your scriptwriting "game plan." Use the model of the 3 Act Play to guide you in constructing your story, and then your script will be a lot easier to complete.   As you write, it is important to keep your intended audience in mind. One main concept you should keep in mind is that you are usually retelling an event. Your job is to make it seem even more compelling by using editing to tell the story even better than when it actually happened.   Events, in order to present them in their best light, require a fair share of planning. However, since others are doing the performing in most cases, and you are just recording their actions, there is little in the way of actual writing that goes into the shoot ahead of time. Creating a tutorial is great fun and gives you a sense of satisfaction that you are really helping others in sharing your knowledge.   After you've decided on your tutorial "niche," you can begin coming up with individual tutorials for that niche. Here's how.   If you have ideas all ready for your tutorials, you can begin developing a plan to get you to the finish line.   If you want to create a tutorial, but aren't sure of your theme or story yet, just get some ideas going for your tutorial and you'll be on your way. The vlog theme is very popular and an easy way to get started in creating videos. All you need is your phone's camera or a camcorder and you can get started.   A wide variety of subjects can be undertaken in any vlog and it's probably the most popular source of content on YouTube today. These subjects, sometimes referred to as "niches" can lend themselves to stories, and that is what you need to retain viewers for your vlog; story.   You might have a bit of difficulty getting started with story ideas to shoot, but do not worry. Just get some ideas going and you'll be on your way. Ideas  for story along these lines tend to perpetuate new ideas for more stories. After coming up with a theme or style of video and deciding your niche, it's time to brainstorm a story idea (or a set of ideas in the case of a series of stories) around that theme. Idea for a Feature or Documentary Coming up with an idea for either a narrative film or a documentary film can happen in a variety of ways. Often, an idea will just come into your mind with little effort. Ideas like these can be brilliant but are often fleeting and can escape you quickly. As I mentioned in "brainstorming," it's best to capture that idea right away by writing it down in a safe space or recording it onto a device, like your phone.  You can often draw from your own life and experiences (and those of your family and friends) to construct a narrative story. I think it's a great idea to write down each of these salient life experiences as potential narratives.   For a documentary, the story is told by real people. If you are struggling to come up with story ideas for your personal vlogs, you might think about fleshing out your own talents to draw stories from. Personal vlogs are very powerful and can be super entertaining. Since everyone is different and has different combinations of interests, you can draw on these interests to perpetuate content.   Here are some things to think about when considering creating videos drawing on your talents and personal experiences: What are your key strengths?  What are you known for? What niche are you very good at?  Answering these key questions, then writing down these ideas should be extraordinarily helpful to you. I hope it helps. I'm trying to import mxf files from a Sony FS5 into Premiere Rush from Creative Cloud and they are greyed out, so I'm unable to select and import them. mxf files are on the supported file format list so this should be possible. Any help much appreciated? - Ross

I'm having trouble opening the videos on my desktop from my iphone app. I've created it on app and trying to open on desktop, it shows the video on front page however when I try to edit the screen is red with an !. I've tried so many different things to resolve but have run out of options. Could you help with this issue?   Thanks   title edited by mod  

Hi All.thx for platform.Is Cloud storage still active, after Ru date of expiry/inactivity?i may need to access edited files in the future, and don't necessarily want Ru active on my OS the entire time. any feed back would be appreciated.much thx. 

I've been doing research about filming with my iPhone and the Filmic app seems to be the winning app for this. But can I edit footage from it in Premiere Pro or Rush? It seems that it totally should work, but I haven't bought the app yet and I can't seem to find any info on this.

Когда начинает рендериться в небольшое видео, то оно или глючит или грузится несколько часов. Меня не устраивает такая работа приложения.У меня OnePlus 7pro, абсолютно новый телефон. Что мне делать? Good afternoon. I paid 10.43€ euros just some minutes ago in order to update Rush app. Then I created a video, I exported it and I could still see the message on top "You have 3 exports and then you have to upgrade it". We just had it done!!! Can you please tell me what happened exactly? 

I'm using Rush on my iPhone pro Max. I have made a short 1 min video with lots of clips and everytime I play the projects it jumps to random other frames. When I exit and go back into the project the errors are in different places. When I export that are on the exported video too. Please help. I'm going crazy!

I had the last trial left and i was exporting it just because of low storage it dint get exported so practically my last trial is left so how is it showing that i i have reached my export level wat do i do now that i have done 8 to 10 days hardwork on editing nd collecting for my youtube video.Its just making me very depressing cz i i real need this one soo pleasee check up cz i dint export at alll so please return the last trial export pleaseee for god sake atleast.

Is it possible to adjust the speed of titles when added to a project?  I easy adjust the speed of my video clips, but some of the titles are just too fast.  Any advice?

Hi - so recently I upgraded my Premiere Rush subscription because I am aware that there is a limited export quota. I upgraded my subscription on my laptop but my Premiere Rush app wasn't giving me extra export quotas even though I have made the payment which is absolutely ridiculous and adobe customer support isn't available on a weekend. Frustrating
