Hello,I would like to buy a new PC to work with Premiere and sometimes AE. The image quality of the material that I use usually does not exceed 1080p. I already did some research and settled for the following components: CPU:AMD Ryzen 7 3800XGPU:MSI GeForce RTX2070 Armor 8GBRAM:G.SKill TridentZ RGB 32GBHARD-DRIVES:1) Crucial MX500 500GB, SATA (CT500MX500SSD1)2) Crucial MX500 1TB, SATA (CT1000MX500SSD1) Can anybody give me some feedback? I have had good playback on my 2013 PC system with 6 core and GTX 680 running Premiere Pro (14.0.0) but now it is choppy on fast forward. Using PP (13.1.5) there is no problem. It seems like the latest version does not like my GPU. 

Hello Everyone.   If I am using my Sony PXW-Z150, and Have the Camera HDMI To the Tascam HDMI IN, and From Tascam HDMI OUT to any Monitor, I can easily press Start Record and Stop Record from my Camcorder, and Therefore, Tascam Recorder Starts, and Stops Recording at the same time. This is a very good feature for syncing. But, when I use my Canon 5d Mark 4, It does not work. I have contacted Tascam, and they told me that Canon 5d Mark 4 Is compatible, and it should work. Hi there, I've been having a problem where my Dell XPS15 9570 would go to sleep whenever the system starts to exert itself, both during playback and/or exporting. If it's a low resolution video it's usually alright, but when it goes onto 4K footage and/or HD with a lot of effects it'll just go to sleep on its own. Anyone has the same problem and knows how to fix this problem?

Hey just curious if you have resolved the errors you were having? Do you think it's worth the extra $400 to upgrade to 64gb vs 32gb? Any insight is appreciated as I'm looking to upgrade my computer. Thanks! 

2 years ago I bought a budget editing PC with the idea that I'd upgrade as needed. Recently, I've been working with 4k r3d and braw footage and having frequent lagging and crashes. hello would someone have a recommendation for a special "film" 2TB SSD (SATA6 formfactor, internal, JBOD raid, "T3" from "caldigit", thunderbolt 2) for 4k workflow in premiere pro CC2020? i am asking, cause i thought, that the consumer (TLC) ssd´s are not suitable for a heavy workflow, where large files are written to disc every minute, and one project has 500GB footage? overall at least 1TB data read/write per working day (8h), for commercial movies, cutting and colorgrading, source footage will come from very different cameras, drones ect.. only in 4k. i ve read, i need a "Pro" SSD, is that true?and the buffer in consumer ssd´s is not suitable, maybe, as full very fast and then the ssd is probably slower. - better SLC or MLC than TLC- 3D VNand important? otherwise i will get the "samsung 860 Pro 2TB" thanks  

I have a Dell Optiplex 9010 with an i7 3770, 8gb ram and 2 SATA SSDs (one for programs/OS, another for raw footage). Playback performance is tolerable in Premiere Pro 2019 editing 1080p footage, until I add effects - I assume my integrated graphics (Intel HD 4000) are bogging down. Task manager indicates I am not running out of memory. I tried installing a GT 1030 (my PCIE slot only takes cards up to 50 watts) and the mercury playback engine claimed CUDA acceleration was available. However, playback was impossible and task manager shows CUDA cores are not being utilised. Would a 4gb RX 550 be a good purchase, or perhaps upgrading to 16gb ram? How about using an older version of premiere pro (does the 2017 version utilise at GT 1030 - Nvidia advertised Premiere Pro performance boosts in their marketing material). Any help much appreciated.

My Macbook Pro has just given up the fight after only 4 years.  I am conisdering going back to a windows laptop.  I own the full CS 4.0 suite for windows that was not compatible with my Mac computer so i used CS on my mac.  I will be using my older CS Adobe Suite but might upgrade to using the upgraded subscription Suite later. I am considering a 14" 2 in 1 laptop that has an integrated GPU.  The larger computers can be had with discrete GPUs.  How much would a laptop lacking a better GPU suffer when processing Premier Pro files? THis i the laptop I am conisdering. https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/yoga/yoga-900-series/Lenovo-Yoga-C940-14IIL/p/88YGC901221 I would have at leastcore i716GB of ram  

So, I'm planning on buying the i9 9900KF,  however someone told me the 9900KF wouldn't be compatible with Premiere Pro, and that only the KS and K are supported. (because KF doesn't have a build-in graphics card)  I use a RTX 2080 TI, so because of that I won't need to CPU's Graphics Card.

Hello, I'm about to build a PC for programs in the Creativ cloud. First I want to say that my english isn't the best, so I'm sorry for some mistakes! My Budget is 2000 Euro (approximately 2250 Dollar). I don't know if I shold Buy a AMD processor or a Intel processor. I'm going to work with Premiere Pro and 4K files, Photoshop/Lightroom and files from my Sony Alpha 7 III (One file is 24mp big). Maybe I will work sometimes with After Effects but this program is not important for me! Is the Graphics Card necessarie for this programms or is the processor more important? Should I buy a RTX 2080 or a Quadro Graphics Card? Or are the Graphic Cards of AMD better? I hope you can help me!

 Hi. I’m trying to figure out where to spend money on my setup to get the most bang for my buck. Currently I m using a MBP i9 32RAM 500GB Nvme / 4GB Pro Vega 20.In the future, I’m planning to edit BRAW and ProRes HQ Footage in AE, PrPro and Resolve. I am using a lot of VFX, colour grading etc. for my projects. The size for both codecs is around 270 MB/s at 4k Res 60fps. Total footage size is usually around 350 to 400GB. At the moment I store everything (Caches,Footage and Media Files) on my internal Nvme, wich is also running my OS. Now I know that this is pretty suboptimal and after doing some research, I would set up my configuration this way: 500GB Internal Nvme: OS, Apps500 GB SSD: Disk Cache500 GB Nvme: Footage, Projekt Files I'm planning to store my footage and the Project Files on a fast external Nvme like the X5 (Samsung). The Disk Cache on a regular SSD like the T5 (Samsung). Is the X5 to overkill to store my footage on? Is that high amount of speed even used or

Hello, I am purchasing a new laptop and I am not sure which one to get in order to run my subscription of premiere pro. I have a very tight budget so I am looking for the cheapest laptop that can run the program. I looked at the specs on Adobe website, but the terms dont translate to the laptop descriptions properly. I dont know for example if Intel Iris graphics is the same thing as Intel R graphics etc. How can I go about getting some assistance? Should I post some laptop options? Someone just gave me an old Dell that has Intel R HD graphics 5500, Intel Core i3, 6bg RAM, and Adobe premiere will not run on it. Any advice please? I only have about $500 to spend, thank you. Hi,   i am using a single sonnet Thunderbolt3 eGPU box with radeon rx 580 with a 2016 macbook pro quad I7.  i know my macbook supports 2 eGpu boxes.  If I add a 2nd eGPU box with a radeon rx 580 will premiere work better with 5k R3D files?   On my desktop 12 core macpro with a red rocket x card premiere can work easily in R3D.  the laptop not so much...   thanks for any insight     [Moderator note: moved to best forum.]

I have an early 2015 MacBook pro. 2.7Gzhz dual core i5. 16gb RAM. Premiere 2020  freezes or crashes repeatedly, even after deleting media caches. Is upgrading to a 2018 quad core with the same amount of RAM for $1500 worth it? (I'm unemployed so budget is important).
