So I am getting a new compugter, the current computer runs very slow specially when I use any of the Adobe Cloud apps. I am thinking of getting a 32gb RAM1T of solid state and 2T of regular old drive (HDD) for storage. But what is a good graphic card? What is a good processor? I was doing some googling and an article came it depends of your work? light, medium, heavy? <<< what does that even means? Of course I want to get work fast and don't want to be dealing with frozen screens. The programs I use (not everyday, but maybe 3 times a week, or whenever I need them) from Adobe Cloud are: IllustratorPremier prophotoshopCharacter Animator ^^ Some of them I haven't use in a while, but they all take forever to work with now. The computer I have today was never fast with Adobe, but it was on the acceptable side. Hi guys I wonder whether anyone can advise me of the required spec to use with Adobe Premiere Pro (APP). (Yes, I have looked on the Apple website. But I'd find it useful to hear from other people who also use this software). I currenly have a 4 year old, high spec (shown below) Dell laptop which was supplied by my company's IT dept. In the last week I've noticed that while editing subtitles, APP is hanging and going slow, especially when I don't want it to. If I press 'play' it hangs, sometimes for 30 seconds. If it's playing and I press 'stop' it can carry on playing, again for 30 seconds or so. Today my IT colleague thoroughly checked over my laptop. He thinks it is absolutely fine and working as it should.I'm used to Windows operating system and 97% of my company's other laptops have Windows installed. Are Apple pc's/laptops always better?
considering to upgrade my PC -Need Help with choosing between Mac Studio M2 Maxvs i9 14900K with 4070 Super...pl advice which will be better with Premiere Pro
Hi there, I have issues with my laptop Lenovo:System-SKU: LENOVO_MT_20S4_BU_Think_FM_ThinkPad P14s Gen 1 Everytime i want to edit some video's the playback or the preview monitor can't play this smoothly. It's always with framedrops, it's always with lags, i can't even make a mask because it's so much troubleshooting. I already tried; cache media, i tried working with proxies, i tried working on the lowest resolution. I tried everything that already exists on the help pages. Ofcourse IT is a little bit anti Adobe. So when they choose my computer they made their decision on photo-editing and not on video-editing. They say it's a laptop who are used for architects and ingeneers. But how is it possible that when i work in premiere pro or any other video editing program it just doesn't run smoothly. I can't work. the specs; SKU system: Systeem-SKU LENOVO_MT_20S4_BU_Think_FM_ThinkPad P14s Gen 1processor: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10610U CPU @ 1.
Hi, this is my current PC:CPU: Ryzen 9 5950XMB: MSI Mortar B550MEM: 2x16GB DDR4 3200GC: MSI RTX 3060 Ti Ventus 2x 8GBPWR: MSI 850W 80 Plus GoldSTG: 1x1Tb M.2 (System and apps), 1x2Tb M.2 (RAW files), 1x250Gb SATA (cahce and some resources) I'm gonna update this week to: MEM: 2x32Gb DDR4 3200STG: 1x2Tb M.2 (System), 1x4Tb M.2 (RAW files) I have to set the preview to 1/4 because it can't handle 4k sequences and it's something that annoys me because I consider that I have a decent stuff for 4k although sometimes I think that the graphics card is a bit lacking. I'm right? Is it true that for 4k editing the graphics card plays a much more important role than in 1080?Is it worth upgrading the RTX 3060 TI 8Gb for something superior? How are AMD graphics cards working with the current versions of Premiere and After Effects? Thanks

Hey, guys. I actually have a 5600x 32g ram 3600 and a 6700xt 12gb vram. After premieres's last upgrade, I felt it a bit heavier to my system. What upgrade would you guys choose? 1. Upgrade CPU to 9900x and keep the 6700xt; 2. Upgrade both CPU to 5900xt and GPU to a 7900xtx; Or, still:3. Keep the CPU and upgrade GPU to the 7900xtx. I just use it for premiere, editing in 4k slog 8bit and for obs in lives. Sometimes, gaming in 4k.
Hi, everyone I plan to buy new PC for this purpose next month. My only problem here is that I have limited budget for now, but hopefully, I will be doing upgrades in upcoming time after I build my initial PC. So, i'm going to start doing edit as freelancer, mostly in 1080p30-60, but sometime I must be ready for clients that could demand me to edit video in 4k resolution, so I need your opinions about worthy of doing my PC build. Also, my focus will be on short form videos and podcasts, not long-lenght special effect heavy videos. Here are potential specs of my PC. Of course, I didn't decide finally which components to by, but there are some of them that I have in my mind: AMD Ryzen 5 3500x/Ryzen 5 5500/Intel i5-11400fRAM: 16/32gb ddr4GPU: For now, I have only ASUS (AMD) RX 550 4gb ddr5 which I bought four years ago, but I'm seeking for best graphics under 200$, if it exists (example, Intel ARC380 6gb ddr5)
Hi all,I've been a designer for a good few years now, but using a tired old Mac that can't really handle the newer stuff... Is this good or do you recommend another? I can't seem to find which graphic card would be preferable and wether AMD Ryzen would be as good as intel I7. Thanks in advance for answers!

Will the following system run Premier Pro and Photoshop Efficiently? It matches the recommended specs but sometimes the recommended specs can be misleading. OS: Windows 11Processor: Intel 15-1145G7 @ 2.6GHzGraphics: Integrated Iris Xe GraphicsRAM: 16GBSSD: 256GB Thanks for your help!
...I'm curious if anyone has tried to run the 2022 version of PPro on this system on Catalina? Big Sur? It would appear the CPU is significantly earlier than minimum spec, but we have a series of these 'coffee cans' we'd like to stretch just a bit more service out of as we continue with hardware upgrades. (Curious if any limitations caused by that CPU setup would be more specific than just speed of computation...) Thanks for any thoughts. Tim
Hi,I need a little advice on possibly purchasing a graphics tablet. Everyone's workflow is different, so here's mine.My desktop is a 27" iMac. I'm an automotive illustrator, old school using an airbrush. I am an experienced Mac user and and to create for example a wheel, I'll do the technical line work in InDesign, export it into Photoshop and add colour and texture there. I have very good hand to eye cordination and have illustrated this way using a mouse – but that's a bit of a brick and I'm looking for something more intuitive. I've attached an illustration done this way.I'm uncertain whether to have a tablet with a screen, because I will always be looking at the Mac and constantly switching between InDesign and Photoshop while working. My Mac will always be the centre of attention working this way I think. I want to be able to save as I go on the iMac without having part of the illustration on another device.I don't want to have to constantly export between Mac and tablet and back
