Am planning on running my own multi-media production company, but as it stands right now, I have to do everything from pre/post-production, effects and lighting right down the line for some of the work I want to do, I believe if I learn a 3d software like C4D, Blender or Maya,  I will be able compete way better with my competitors in the market am in right now.So I think the key is to be able to do some cool high end 3d stuff in a timely manner.But the only problem is, I don't know which one to choose:C4D - is cheaper and looks like it can get the job done, for most commericials and other small productions I will be doing.Maya- someone told me the possibilites are endless in this program, but the only thing is, it is very expensive, so I don't know if it would make sense to invest so much into a software and hardly push it to its limit.Blender - am not sure about this, it's free LOLRegards,Semple

Dear Maxon, if you read this, please buy After Effects from Adobe and save us future trouble. Every new version is getting worse and slower. I think this application would be much better developed under Maxon and their team. I just had this to say.Thank you.

Hello everyone,Well, I've been using Premiere Pro for a year now but I've cancelled my subscription today. Here's a few of the reasons why:1. The main reason is that Adobe and Apple don't seem to be able to talk to each other. I've had an engineer tell me that Adobe have filed a bug a with Apple about terrible CUDA performance (exporting doesn't work properly - just constant errors - on my configuration of machine with OSX Sierra and apparently that's Apple's problem, there's a bug report been filed. Not good enough).2. The keyframe animation is appalling, I can't work on keyframes I have created as I can't actually move the playhead to them, I have to create a new keyframe and slightly alter the values of that and then delete the old one. Ugh. If they're trying to force me to use AE for animation then that just stinks.3. Adobe don't really have any idea about customers or users. When I just cancelled and I selected 'other' as my reason they gave me a text box the size of a matchbox -

Just a thought. Wondering how many times on uses your SD card in a video camera before inserting a brand new one. Suggestions?

I'm writing on behalf of Sierra Leone based (UK registered) charity WAYout, regarding free products, and particularly Premier Pro and Photoshop. WAYout has helped over 3000 street and disadvantaged youth in the last 5 years to change their lives through projects using film, music and arts. Our Photoshop and film editing projects are enormously popular - we have over 100 regular weekly members hoping to complete courses and get courses. Our members have gone onto paid employment as editors, writers, designers and film-makers.But we do all of this on a very small budget. Adobe products would be key to our work were they not prohibitively expensive; and trying to navigate how to get donations, through TechSoup or other providers, seems overly complicated.Can someone advise, is there anyone we can talk to about this?Thanks

Adobe can say what they want. After years of nightmare editing, loosing weeks on trying to solve things and get premiere to work like it should. I just threw it out, finished, no more! For the price we pay, it's not worth all the frustration and stress. I always read about cache, ssd's, older systems.... it's pure hogwash. IT IS.!! Went over to Davinci Resolve 14 and what do you know? Gone are all my editing problems (years of frustration solved in minutes). All the nonsense that I read about why PP crashes and what not with 4K.... R U joking? The only explanation I've got, it just does not work.Davinci plays with it like a child, with several 4K clips on top of each other for more then 10 minutes AND with color grading and fx added.Don't get me wrong, AE, PS... all good but PP... never again! Hope Davinci Rersolve keeps growing as an NLE (and no doubt, it will). It has the potential of being one of the best! Amen...

Hi,just try to export an video of 6 pictures. Format chosen 1080p. I do it on a iMac end 2015 with 24 GB. It does not work. May someone can help.ThanksGuenter

Hello Everyone.I have the Sony PXW-Z150 4K, Camcorder. B&H Photo Video B&H Photo Video Also, I have few Canon DSLR Camera Like Mark III, and 80D. The problem with shooting Sony Z150 is that you can not change the Lens, and It Is very poor In Low-Light shooting. But, with Sony Z150, you can shoot 4K, and you can shoot HD 120fps, Not 4k fps.  With C100 Mark II, It dose not shoot 4K, But I can change the lens, and Its design for Video only,  rather that having a DSLR Camera that Shoots Video. Off course, C300 is a better choice but is very expensive. Dose anyone knows about this camera, would you please let me know what you think.Thank you very mcuh.

Does anyone know what size file I should download from Deposit Photos that will best fit for a Kick campaign? HI thereI'm an exasperated Premiere Pro /AME CC 17 user.For some time now I have been trying to contact ANYBODY at Quvis to get support on the Wraptor plug in in PP/AME.Please, please, can someone from Adobe give me an actual working email address to use, or phone numnber? You guys are Adobe should really fire whoever thought this was a great idea.  Sony started messing with key features of Vegas and look how much of the market share they have now.
