Question

Choose paper source by PDF Page size not working

I am trying to print a PDF that has both letter and ledger sized paper and it is all printing on letter.  I have "Choose Paper source ..." selected and I have followed steps to check for updates on my Adobe product, unchecked the Protected Mode at Startup and uninstalled and reinstalled the product.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Andy,

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

What happens when you try to print the mixed page size PDF file? Do you get any error message? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same for a better understanding.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20085 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Also please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/print-mixed-page-sizes-acrobat.html and see if that works.

    Regards

    Amal

    Hello,

I attempted the fixes to no success.

When I attempt to print to mixed page sizes it all prints on 8.5x11 rather than the mix of 8.5x11 and 11x17, no error message comes up.

I am on the latest version of Adobe Acrobat DC 22.001.20085

I reset the preferences as described in the community forum.  I am a full admin on windows.

There is another staff member here that has an older version of Adobe and it worked just fine for her.  Is this a version issue that the latest is having this error and they are going to patch it?

    Hi there

We are sorry to hear that.

Please check for any missing/pending update for the printer driver and firmware and try updating it and check.

You may also try to remove the printer driver /firmware, reboot the computer and reinstall them from the manufacturer's website and check.

    Regards
