Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, on converting PDF to Excel the decimal point is not showing.

Would you mind sharing the steps you are doing to export the PDF to Excel?

Also, what is the version of the Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed . Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer.

You may also try to export the PDF to Excel using the link https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/acrobat/pdf-to-excel and see if that works for you.

Hi Amal,

I simply use Tools in the Pdf file and select Export to Microsoft Excel document.

The version is Continuous Release 2021.005.20060

I would not use another html link for fear of viruses.

Thanks,

Sue

Hi Sue

Thanks for sharing the details. Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDF? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

Please try to reset the Acrobat Preferences as described in the help page - https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

Regards

Amal
