Drop down box displays default value after selection

Question

I have a PDF created in Acrobat XI Pro. There are many fields on the form and I'm only having problems with one drop down box. When I select it, I see all the drop down options. However, when I select one of the values, it only shows the default value even though the form knows the value that I selected (other fields are populated based on the selected value). If I print the form, the correct value appears in the printed version....so the issue is just with the display.

Oddly enough, the form functions correctly if I view the form in Acrobat XI Pro, but not when viewed through Reader DC.

Yes, I have commit immediatly selected.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, Drop down box displays default value after selection.

Is this a beavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive, please download it to your computer first and try again. If its a file specific issue please share the file with us for testing.

Also make sure you have the Acrobat Reader DC updated to its recent version 21.07.20099 go to help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
