Emailing still does not work

More than one year ago I posted on this forum about broken functionality to send documents by email using SMTP server configured in AR. There was some discussion and I even uploaded detailed diagnostic files, but nothing happened, and as of today (v. 2024.003.2180) it still does not work - I just tried again with the same result.

If Adobe is going to fix it, which I can imagine may be the case given an obvious interest to hosting everything on Adobe cloud, then paybe it's time to retire this function altogether? Why keeping it broken for years?
