I emailed a pdf and I was able to see the images in chromebook browser navigation. I can also see the images on the pdf from my phone, but when I download the pdf and open with adobe acrobat the images appear for a split second and then dissappear.  I am trying to figure out how I can see those images on adobe.

I have already checked the show large images but nothing changed.  I have also logged out and logged back into adobe. I have rebooted the laptop. I have the most up to date version.

update: I found a solution to my problem, if you have the adobe pro, go to export and export it to a ppt and then export back to a pdf.

Hi Rina

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to view the images in the PDF via Acrobat but they appear to be fine on web browser

Web browsers use their own PDF mechanism to render and display the PDF contents and they are not Adobe dependant.

when you download the pdf and open with adobe Acrobat Reader the images appear for a split second and then disappear, is this a behavior with this particular PDF file or with all the PDFs with images? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

What is the version of the Acrobat Reader you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

You may also try to repair the installation (Win Only) Go to Help > Repair installation.

If it still doesn't work, please try to reset the Acrobat preferences to default as described in the help page https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile in Windows with full admin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

Regards

Amal
