Question

Macbook Air will not print a PDF file

I have two macs, an Imac and a Macbook Air.

Adobe Acrobat reader DC is version 2022.001.20112 on both.

Mac Air has OSX 11.6.4

Imac has 12.3.1

I can print PDF files from the Imac without a problem

The Air comes up with "The document could not be printed" followed by "There were no pages selected to print"

I have compared the Imac Reader specs to the Air  and they are identical. I have checked everything and can't spot any difference.

Any clues why it will not print?

Thanks,  David

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preference on the affected MAC as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

Also, try to create a new test user profile or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Also, go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-pdf-printing-acrobat-reader.html and see if that works.

Regards

Amal

Hi, none of those files are visible under preferences.
And I have done the help section with no success.
I can open the pdf with Preview and print there.

Hi David

Have you tried using the application in the new user profile or the root account as described earlier?

Let us know how it goes.
