Measuring tool arrows are huge and large

Question

Something has happened to my meausuing tool and the arrows are enormous and I cannot see what I'm trying to measure.  Attached is a screenshot.   How can I change this back to the much smaller size?

As per the issue description on the unexpected behaviour of measuting tool.

Kindly try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Check if the app is up to date.

2. Try repair installation from the help option from the menu bar.
