Stamps disappear

Hello all,

 

I currently have the problem that stamps and comments disappear in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
This doesn't happen with every PDF file, but it has become more frequent. By default, PDF files are created with PDF24. However, the error also occurs with PDF files created with other programmes. It also makes no difference whether the PDF file is new or older.
The error is noticeable as follows:
PDF file is edited and saved. When it is opened again, all or some of the stamps and comments are missing.

 

Hardware: Win 10 Version 21H1
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version: 2022.001.20117

    Hi Markus

     

    Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

     

    Would you mind sharing the steps you did to add the stamps and comments on the PDF file? A small video recording of the stapes you are doing and the issue you are experiencing would be very helpful.

     

    Also, please share the sample PDF file so that we can check it at our end.

     

    Please try to repair the installation from the help menu and reboot the computer once.

     

    You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and see if that helps.
