Top portion disappears

Question

Hi there - For some reason, the top portion of a pdf file disappears when i opne it with Reader. I then need to restart the laptop and it is ok. After a few days again the same problem occurs. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Reader but to no avail. Any help / suggestions appreciated.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, the top potion of the PDF file disappears when you open it with Reader. The issue fixes for some days after restarting the computer and then re-appears.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer once.

Also, try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described in the help page - https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082 and see if that works.
