Unable to save

I have Adobe Acrobat Reader. I have an application form that is to be filled and saved. I am unable to save the document. The document enables to save data entered in the form, but when I click on Save it opens a pop-up but does not have anything in it. Its a blank pop up with no buttons or options.

 

I need to save the document to upload online. It's a secured document. This has been happening last couple of days after the last Windows update.

The planned update for Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC version 21.07.20099  is now available. Please update the application from the help menu > Check for updates  and reboot the computer once.

You may also download the patch manually from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html  and see if that works for you.

Hi, I have had no luck with unchecking the boxes mentioned and the save icon on the toolbar for Reader is still "grayed out"...  any additonal advice would be helpful, thanks

Hi there

 

Please try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792082

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html  , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the direct link https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are getting the blank save as window

 

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version 21.07.20091 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer once.

 

Also go to Edit (Win), Adobe Acrobat (Mac) > Preferences > General > Uncheck 'Show online storage when saving files' and 'Show online storage when opening files' > Click OK and reboot the computer once.
