What happens when you try to paste the image? Do you get any error message? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same.

Would you mind sharing the steps you are taking to paste the image, A small video recording of the steps and the issue as it occurs would be very helpful for more clarity and understanding.

Also check for any pending/missing update and and try updating the app from the App/Play Store and reboot the device once and check.
