Acrobat as standard app

Why can I not select Adobe Acrobat for Android as standard app on my Samsung Galaxy s21. 

I can not open a pdf by Crick on the file, but only if I OpenOffice the Acrobat app and senest the file from there.

    Hi @Esben Harder 

     

    Hope you are doing well. 

    As you have mentioned that you are not able to make Acrobat reader mobile as the default PDF viewer. To make Reader mobile default viewer for PDF you need to go on a PDF which is saved locally and then

    1. Tap on PDF > "Open with" prompt > Adobe Acrobat > tap "Always".

     

    If some other application is already set as default for PDFs then 

    1. Go to mobile settings> apps> select the app (in which it opens PDF) 

    2. You will see app info> tap set as default > Clear defaults

    Now, when you open a PDF it will give "Open With" prompt and then you can select Adobe Acrobat from there.
