Acrobat (iOS): editable pdf not being saved

Hello everyone.
This is my first post in here.

I have purchased the premium version for the Acrobat app for iOS (on the iPad).
As instructed, I have opened a form pdf file and edited it using the tool "Fill and Sign" in order to be able to save a copy where I could fill in the fields whenever I needed.
However, once I was finished, I sent a copy and opened it on my computer and I wasn't able to edit the fields...
Does anyone know why?
Thank you very much.

Hello, I am having the same problem with it not saving the signed detail. Did you get yours resolved? Regards David

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Would you mind sharing the steps you are taking and the issue occurring for more clarity? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful.

Also share the version of the OS and the Acrobat Reader mobile app you are using? To check the version of the app, tap on the profile icon > About Adobe Acrobat.

Please check for any pending/missing updates and try updating the app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) and reboot the device once and see if that helps.

Hi @GuiPacker

As mentioned in the issue description that you have saved a copy of a form using the Fill and Sign tool. Could you confirm if you have signed the document before sending it?

In a fill-in form when you fill in the information and sign it, the form gets locked for further editing only for fill-in fields, however, you can edit the text on the form.

For more details, you can refer to: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobat/ios/en/forms.html?#

Thanks,

Harsh

Am I not able to edit an existing PDF file from the iPad (using the Acrobat app) where people can open it on their computers and fill in the fields that I created?

Hi, Could you confirm if this is happening with only one PDF?

If possible, could you share some screenshots or attach the file, so we can check on our end?

Thanks,

Harsh
