Acrobat IOS - read only issue

I am unable to use Acrobat in IOS to work with PDF documents as they keep showing up as read only. I load public documents downloaded from the web only Acrobat. Even after i save it to onedrive, it still shows as read only. So i cant highlight or do anything with the file.

I dont have this issue with I open the SAME file with other apps like apple books.
Overall I have to say despite loads of features, Adobe's UX is still very poor

    Correct answer Amal.

    Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

What is the workflow/steps you are taking? A small video recording of the steps taken and the issue as it occurs would be very helpful.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Try with a different file and see if that helps.

Please try to download the PDF to your device locally and then try to open it with Acrobat mobile app and check. Also try updating the app from the App Store and reboot the device once and see if that works.

You may also check the self help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/mobile-app-faq.html for future reference.

Let us know how it goes.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
