Hi.

Have had acrobat reader app on my iPhone for free since 2022 and now I can't get access and it wants me to subscribe.

Wish I had a warning about this issue and I would have printed out the documents I have in there but now I can't get to them. Please help me with this issue.

@asa_jona_6022 The good news is that your documents are very likely still there. The app is not deleting them; it's simply restricting your ability to perform certain actions on them. Certain advanced functionalities that you may have been using for free in the past, like editing, organizing pages, or combining files, have been moved to a premium, subscription-based model. When you use the Acrobat Reader app, your documents are often saved to Adobe's cloud storage. You should be able to log in to your account on the Adobe website from a computer to view and download your files. From there, you can print them. If your documents were not synced to the cloud, they might be saved locally on your iPhone. Check the "On My iPhone" or "Local" section within the app's file browser. If you find them there, you might be able to open them and then use the "Share" or "Print" function. You should still be able to open and view your documents for free. If you can, you may be able to print them directly from the app or share them via email to another device for printing.

Hi @asa_jona_6022,

Sorry for the trouble.

++ to the comments by creative explorer,

Can you please share a screen recording of what you mean by you can't get access to your files?

Were your files saved on the Adobe Cloud Storage or on your device's local storage?

If on Adobe Cloud, please log in to https://adobe.ly/41DtpWj and let us know if they are available.

Getting a screenshot or a screen recording of the situation would be great to understand what's happening, and troubleshoot accordingly.

Regards,
Souvik.
