Question

Acrobat Reader Mobile Premium Features not included?

Hello all,

Just having a moment of disgust, but does anyone else feel that it's "highway robbery" for Adobe to charge and additional $69.99 to access Acrobat Reader Premium Features on a mobile device, when I'm already paying $599.88/ yr for my Adobe Technical Communication Suite?  I understand there are many valuable programs included with that subscription, but to not include mobile access to premium features seems a bit predatory. Just my 2 cents.

Sorry for venting here. I know it will change nothing but needed to get it out of my system.

@Joe Muni

You posted to Acrobat Reader Mobile (beta), but it does not sound like you are using the beta version. Your post is currently the only one in the beta forum.

Please confirm and I can move your post the the correct forum where it will be seen.

I just looked up Adobe Technical Communication Suite. It includes FrameMaker, Robohelp, Captivate, Acrobat, and Presenter.

https://www.adobe.com/products/technicalcommunicationsuite.html

In addition, I also looked up Adobe Acrobat Premium. It says here that the features are included if you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat. If the first link is accurate, then it appears (to me) that you do have it.

I am a volunteer and do not work for Adobe, but you might contact Adobe Customer Care. Type "agent" in the chat bot and give both links if necessary.

or send a tweet to @AdobeCare.

Jane,

Yes, I have the full use of the premium features of Acrobat/ Reader, but that is only on the computer.  The mobile app (phone and tablet) version does not include those "premium" features, unless I buy ANOTHER subscription for use on a "mobile" device.

To me, that seems like a rip-off and that Adobe is trying to double dip.  I do not know of any other service/subscription where I have to spend additional money jut to use the service on my phone/tablet.
