Acrobat reader takes a long time to interact with file after opening it

I've been using acrobat reader for a number of years and never had this problem. It started a couple of months ago. At first it was just large files but after a week or so it happened with every file I opened.

Acrobat just gets stuck when I open it (for about 10 seconds) and it gets stuck every time I open a file (for about 10 seconds). Tried uninstalling and installing it again but it didn't work.

I'm using iPad Pro 11'' 2018

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat Reader Mobile.

 

Have you checked for available space on your Acrobat Cloud Storage (https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/home/) A lack of storage on the portal could also result in a lagging of the files due to huge load when loading cache files from the web to keep the sync.

Thank you for the reply.
I don’t use the cloud. All my files are on my iPad. Some of them are big
(400ish pages) and some are small (1-2 pages) but they all have the same
problem.
