We have multiple people who are trying to send documents through the IOS App. The issue is when they send through email as a Flattened Copy or an Original. The email will show up blank. If you select Open with email. It will still show up blank once the email is sent. The person receiving the email also receives a blank email with no document. This happens when we send the files through the Native Mail App and the Gmail App.

Hi lucs62002192,

We are actively working on a fix for the problem.

The problem occurs when you (a) switch to other apps or (b) let your device go to sleep.

Please try the following steps to work around the problem for now.

  1. Close a PDF document.
  2. Re-open the PDF document.  Do not switch to other apps or let your device go to sleep.
  3. Tap the Share button in the bottom bar.
  4. Select Share File.
  5. Select "Share Original Document" or "Share Flattened Copy".

The important point is to go through Steps 2 - 5 without making any changes, switching to other apps, or letting  your device go to sleep.

Alternatively for sending a "Local" document with the "Share Original Document" option only,

  1. In the "Local" file browser, swipe from right to left to reveal the menu.
  2. Tap More.
  3. Select Email.

Acrobat will use the "Share Original Document" option.

We are trying to release a new update to the App Store soon.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
