With the Acrobat Reader mobile free version you can:

• Open / view PDFs
• Annotate, highlight, comment
• Fill & sign (forms, signatures)
• Share PDFs, link cloud storage (OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.)
• Use “Liquid Mode” for easier reading on small screens

These free features cover most basic viewing and light editing/markup tasks.

When you subscribe to Acrobat Premium on mobile, you gain access to the following elevated features. These are otherwise locked in the free app.

• Create PDF Convert non-PDF files (Word, images, etc.) into PDFs. You can also scan documents and save as PDF. 
  Export / Convert PDF Export a PDF into other formats like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, images, etc. 
• Edit PDF Make changes to the text and images inside a PDF (on mobile). Fix typos, reposition images, delete or rotate images, etc. 
• Organize pages / combine files Insert, delete, reorder pages, split or merge PDFs, rearrange pages inside a document. 
  Compress files Reduce PDF file size to make sharing easier / lighter. 
• Password-protect / secure PDFs Add encryption / “open password” protection to documents. 
• (Newer) AI / smart features In recent versions, the Android app includes generative AI capabilities (summaries, Q&A about content, etc.) and read-aloud of AI responses.
