Adobe Acrobat Reader for iOS Keeps Freezing

I have Acrobat Reader (version 24.02.02) on my iPad mini (iPadOS 17.4.1). Every time I open the app, it freezes. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app several times with no resolution. The app and iPad are updated. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
