Adobe crashing on ipad

my Adobe is crashing when opening certain local files. I had it for years with no problems. This showed up two weeks ago. I have no problem loading pdf files from the cloud (OneDrive).
I’ve tried the following with no success:

1 up dating Adobe and iOS

2 uninstall and reinstall Adobe several times, it works fine for one day, then starts to crash again

3 restart my iPad

4 change setting preferences to default

5. There is enough storage space on iPad

The attached screen video shows me opening one file With no issues while 3 failed attempts To open another.

Appreciate any advice

    Hi  @Hasanain29116468synx

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for the detailed list of steps you have already tried and for the screen recording. I'm sorry for the trouble, especially since the app worked for years without problems.

Since the crash happens with certain local files and not with files opened from OneDrive, it would help to check whether it is related to the files or to the app. Could you please tell us:

    1. Which Acrobat Reader version, iPadOS version and iPad model are you using?

    2. Do the files that crash also open correctly in the Files app preview or in another PDF viewer? Does a failing file open if you copy it to OneDrive and open it from there?

    3. Where are the failing files stored (for example, On My iPad or iCloud Drive), and where did they come from (email, a download, a scan, another app)?

    4. If one of the failing files does not contain personal or sensitive information, could you please share it with us, so we can check it at our end?

Once we have these details, we can look into it further.

    Regards,
    Amal

Thank you for the reply and the time and reading my message, see below my answers

    1. iPad Pro (12.9 inches) fifth generation, iPadOS version 26.7.1, Adobe Acrobat pro with paid subscription (premium with cloud storage)

    2. I don’t have another PDF viewer application. However the failed file opens on OneDrive even after I copy it there. Also, I sent a copy to (book app) in my iPad and it works fine, but of course without the Aiad Adobe tools.

    3. The files, including the failed one are all from my personal OneDrive, they are medical textbooks PDF files. for convenience. I save a coffee on the local Acrobat file (iPad file) so they can open faster and operate off-line. So answering your question, they are stored in local Acrobat file/iPad file.
    4. The file has no personal or sensitive information. However, it is copyrighted with annotations. I can definitely share it if you can send me a private email. I don’t prefer to share it publicly here.

    Let me know.
