I completely understand how unsettling this must have felt, having a file accidentally shared with a stranger is never a nice experience, and you were absolutely right to reach out to that person and ask them to respect your privacy. Let's get this sorted for you step by step.

Step 1: Unshare the file immediately

The good news is that you can revoke access to the file right now, even if it was shared accidentally. Go to the Shared by you section under the Documents tab on Acrobat web https://adobe.ly/44b6ouV, select the file, and choose Unshare. Once you do this, the recipient will no longer be able to access it. https://adobe.ly/4vfxNXD

Step 2: Delete the file from Adobe Document Cloud

For extra peace of mind, you can also permanently delete the shared file from Adobe cloud storage by selecting the Delete option from the document's menu in your cloud storage. This removes it entirely from Adobe's servers. https://adobe.ly/4vBChsy

Note: If you're concerned that the other person may have already downloaded the file, it's worth knowing that if someone has already downloaded a copy, you cannot prevent them from opening it further, unless the document is protected with DRM (Digital Rights Management) technology.
