Question

Adobe keeps creating recovered files (using ipade and one drive)

For the last couple of weeks every time I open a file on my ipad through adobe, rather than saving and snycing to onedrive, it just creates recovered files on my ipad internal storage. I tried logging out of one drive and adobe and deleting the apps and re-downloading and signing in. I tried to reset up access to one drive through adobe online. Online the files I edit through the adobe website will sync to one drive. On my ipad they do not and continue to just make recovered files. I even bought a new ipad because of this and I am still having the same issue. Beyond frustrated.

I got so annoyed with the lack of corrections I looked into a different product and it seems to be a little better, except for e-signing. I decided to cancel Adobe but they offerred me 60 days to stick around. I will give them the 60 days to see if they can resolve this issue and if not I will cancel and likely switch to Foxit. Foxit so far is better for highlighting pages within bookmarks and finding the page I am working on. The only edge Adobe has to me right now is the quality of their e-sign. Not worth the trade off if I can't sync to One Drive.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat Mobile app and the OS you are using? Tap on profile > About Acrobat and try updating the app through the App Store and reboot the device once and check.

If the issue still occurs, please share a small video recording of the steps you are taking and the issue as it occurs for more clarity and further investigation.

Still having the same issue. Things I've tried:

1. Deleting and redownloading one drive and acrobat

2. Buying a whole new iPad

3. Deleting and restoring the connection between OneDrive and adobe through the adobe website

4. checking to be sure all apps are up to date numerous time

3. Restarting numerous times

If I edit things online through adobe even if in one drive it will save correctly. It's just iPad that it doesn't work for. It must be an adobe issue with the new iPad updates. That's the only thing that makes sense and it aligns with the timing. This is becoming increasingly frustrating and is making me want to cancel my adobe membership.
