Adobe Liquide Mode: les é è à disparaissent

Bonjour,

Merci d'avance

Hi there,

I hope you are doing well. Thanks for reaching out and sharing the issue you're experiencing with accented characters in Liquid Mode. I understand how frustrating that can be, especially since it worked correctly before. I tried to reproduce the issue at my end but was unable to do so.

This kind of issue typically happens due to font compatibility or encoding problems during PDF generation or conversion. Here's what you can try to avoid this:

1. Use Standard Unicode Fonts:
When creating or exporting your PDF, make sure you use a font that supports accented characters (like Arial, Times New Roman, or other Unicode-compliant fonts).

2. Embed Fonts in the PDF:
While saving or exporting the PDF (from Word, InDesign, etc.), ensure the fonts are embedded. This helps preserve character formatting across all viewers — including Liquid Mode.

3. Update the Adobe App:
Please check that your Adobe Acrobat Reader app is up to date on your mobile device and try updating the app the latest version available on the App/Play Store.

4. Check Language Settings:
Verify that your device language and region settings match the language used in your PDF (especially if using French, Spanish, etc.).

5. Avoid Copy-Pasting Special Characters from Unsupported Sources:
Sometimes, copying accented characters from certain websites or editors can introduce invisible formatting or encoding that doesn’t translate well to PDF or Liquid Mode.

Let us know how it goes.
