Adobe reader app in my iPad mini 2 showing 'waiting' ... Can't open it or download it.... I can't delete it as it contains lots of valuable data... Plz suggest a solution

Typically, the problem is caused by intermittent internet connection.

Would you please make sure that your iPad has stable Wi-Fi connection?  You may want to toggle the iOS Settings > Wi-Fi switch.
