Adobe reader crashing on iPad

Adobe acrobat reader has been spontaneously crashing when in use on iPad. The crash is resulting in the loss of any unsaved data. The data is not saved in the “recent“ folder either.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the App with no success. Any possible solutions are welcome.
