Adobe reader for android does not respect anymore the last page viewed as saved on Adobe cloud

This used to work but in the latest versions the Adobe reader for Android seems to not respect the last page viewed as being updated from the Adobe cloud. The opposite works correctly, that is the Adobe reader on windows does correctly resume from the last page viewed that was previously opened on Reader for Android.

Please fix this as it is of great value to have a continuity in reading across devices.

We tried to reproduce the issue, and everything worked fine.

 

Could you please help us with a few details so that we can help you with an appropriate resolution:

1. Application version

2. OS version

3. Is the issue file specific? If yes, could you please share the file with us so we can reproduce the issue on our end?

4. Also, share a video recording of the happening situation.

Hello @Krutikka D 

 

Android Reader version is 22.11.0.24919, Android 8.0.0. But I've also reproduced it on newer Android device.

I did some tests and it seems it is not always reproducible. What I observe is that while Desktop app synchronizes quite fast with the document cloud, this is not the case with Android Reader.

 

I'll do a few more tests to see if I can provide something evident.

I noticed that when I reopen a document on the Android device by navigating through the files in the document cloud, it opens at the correct last page. If I reopen a document through the Recent documents list that shows at Home tab, it does not respect the last page from the document cloud but it opens at the page it was last opened on the device itself.
