how is it possible that Adobe LiveCycle Designer and Adobe Reader are not compatible!!!!?  It look like LiveCycle Designer make file in XFA file and Reader cannot read XFA file!!!?  A file produced with Adobe have to be open with another developer's app even if Adobe have an app for mobile!  What do I get wrong?

Hi Guyl68668288,

Adobe Reader mobile products (Reader for iOS, Android, Windows Phone) do not support static or dynamic XFA forms that are authored with Adobe LiveCycle Designer.

You may refer to the following blog page-

Adobe Reader Mobile and XFA forms from LiveCycle Designer | Adobe LiveCycle Blog

Please use the desktop version of Adobe Reader on a Windows or Mac computer to view and fill out XFA forms.

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Akanchha

How come The mobile version of Adobe Reader is not on par with the desktop version. You can create forms that work in the mobile version, but you are limited in what you can do with these forms.
