Adobe Reader not saving comments or highlighted text

I use Adobe Reader on my Ipad. Everything is up to date but today my app crashed and when it opened the file again it had no comments or highlights, anything! I had been working on that file for at least 2 days and everything disappeared. 

Does anyone know what can I do? I restarted my iPad, logged in again, went to recent and nothing.
