Adobe Reader version's problem

For the same PDF which I created in busines,
When my computer's Adobe Reader DC version is set to 2019.008.2008,
it could not be displayed properly, and the characters were garbled into a series of dots.

However,When I change the Adobe Reader DC version as Adobe Reader,it can be displayed as normal.
I would be so appricatie that if u can help me to solve this problem.

As with any app always use the newest version available for your particular product. Weather it be on desktop mobile or anything else old software doesn't work as efficient.
